章節 348: Chasing the Sun

I hugged my bent legs close to my chest as I looked outside the window of Pa's jet with a hollowness I had never felt before inside of me. My tears had soaked my shirt so thoroughly that you would have thought I had just stepped in the shower. Bunbun cuddled close to me on the available space on my seat 

She sadly meowed as if sensing my heartbreak then rested her little head on my lap. I picked her up and cradled her close to my chest. 

I was chasing the sun. The sun that was always with me in my darkest moments as it rested between the clouds creating an even orange, red and purple glow throughout the sky. There the sun was again, comforting me when no one but my beautiful cat was with me.
