章節 29: Utter Rubbish

I tried to focus my mind on the task at hand, which was making dinner which technically counted as breakfast since Demyan loved to have breakfast for dinner if he had had a bad day. Well at least I hoped he still liked having breakfast for dinner because I had gone through a lot of effort to make him waffles and eggs benedict with the ginger and turmeric shake he used to love. 

It had been a long time since I had showered with the ferocity and speed I had. I wanted to surprise him and it would not really be a surprise if he caught me still in the task of it. Luckily I knew I always had time on my side since he always took thirty to forty minutes in the shower. 

Back when he was younger, I would sometimes get afraid that maybe he had fainted or the shower drain had swallowed him whole when an hour passed and he had still not come downstairs. Yet once I got to live with him, I realised there was a lot of preparation that went in for him.
