"What did you just say?" 

Kerl stared earnestly at the goblin's perplexed expression. "Rizz… No, Master Rizzio, I wish to offer myself as payment for the treatment of my brethren, including my son."

"But why would I want you? I don't even know what your body would be worth. Probably nothing to me," Rizz reasoned, shaking his head. 

"If you wished to kill me after, I would not object. But what I am offering is the rest of my life," Kerl firmly stated, keeping his voice somewhat low. "I will accept you as my master, taking upon myself a slave crest to serve you for the rest of my days." 

"That… That's a thing?!" Rizz blurted. His brain nearly burst as a whole new world of options and possibilities was realized. "Is slavery even legal?" 

Kerl nodded. "With a proper contract and payment, slavery is legal throughout Mroebo."
