Above the Blue Merchant guild, Kai Syaoran surveyed the city with his white eyes seeing through stone and metal. The only places he could not see through were the imperial palace and the many mansions belonging to the royals and other powerful noble families.

Kai Syaoran concentrated on a single particular noble house for a moment before he looked away.

He closed his eyes and calmed his heartbeat.

He was getting ready to do something that would shake the world. He needed extreme precision and great power. He had gotten the locations of all the branches of the Blue Merchant guild from the documents inside the headquarters below. He had not killed the guild chairman but this was not because he was going to let him off. Kai Syaoran had a far more sinister plan for him.

In Kai Syaoran's point of view, mere death would not be enough to absolve this man of his crimes.
