章節 60: Something Disastrous

After having her bath, eating and doing all sorts that were necessary, Jolene decided to sit in her room and read the comic. She forgot where she stopped and so she was just skipping through pages.

Jolene had brushed through half of the comic book two weeks ago where she learnt that Jolene Yu didn't die nor end up miraculously waking up and then suffering from amnesia.

And also, where she learnt that Jolene had to suffer a lot before she ended up dying pathetically because of her disease. Furthermore, her cousin from her mother's side, which was the female lead Seraphina Xu, ended up taking her inheritance because she was her next kin.

However, Jolene skipped some important parts because she wasn't interested in the main leads of the comic book. She only wanted to know about her fate.

Jolene flipped the pages of the comic book backwards so that she could proceed from the part where Seraphina came to give her an endorsement to sign.
