章節 29: Sirius Black
As I thought, our mother wanted to introduce us, but she first waited for his mental health to recover to a certain extend. 8 years in Azkaban isn't really a holiday resort.
So after new year, dad brought us to St. Mungo's where we meet up with mom.
She guides us to a his room and knocks.
"Come in, as long as you have normal food."
She opens the door and begins to argue with him: "Really? That's how you talk to family?"
Going in after her, I see a middle-aged man. Well I know he's younger, but the time in a soul-sucking prison didn't improve his appearance. Different from his first described look, he had at least a haircut and shortened his beard, so he doesn't look like as if he didn't see scissors in years.
"Sorry, Andi. I didn't know it was you. But you should know how horrible the food is, as you work here."
"Could you be a little more serious. I brought my family to meet you."
"Isn't my name serious enough?", he jokes, but a simple stare makes him quiet.
"This is my daughter Nymphedora and my son Nicholas. You should remember my husband Ted.", mom introduces us.
"Nice meeting yer kids. I think I own something big to you boy, as you got me out of the hellhole. If you have a request, I'm all ears.", he says, while looking at me for the second part.
"Mom is already happy you are back, but I you really want to do something you can put her back in the family officially.", I state.
"That's all? I would have done that either way, if I am really Lord Black like Andi says. Anything else?"
"I wouldn't mind some pocket money to buy some treats or another pet.", I say while smiling at him.
"That shouldn't be a problem. I owe you and your sister a lot of birthday presents, so I give it to you both, if I am Lord Black."
"Thanks, uncle.", Nymph adds. "Maybe I could buy some sweets to spike some of them with the 'Inflating' charm. It's sad that Halloween I already over as flying students in the Great Hall would be a great view."
At that comment of her, our uncle as we now call him gets eyes full of stars.
"Does that mean my niece is a prankster like myself."
"Don't give my daughter weird thoughts. It's only some jokes under the children.", mom explains. Or at least her point of view. Nobody knows we siblings are Hogwarts silent pranksters, so of course mom wouldn't be informed of the events there.
We then talked for around an hour about pranks, Hogwarts and fun stories.
Then mom and dad got us home to let Sirius rest.

Before leaving for Hogwarts, I bought two different candy. One as apology for the twins as I've stole and disclosed their map, which was confiscated again, but I think another trip to Filch's office should be able to bring it back. The other would be spicked like sis talked about and sent as a gift from secret sweethearts to.. also the twins. Just to mess with them as sis wouldn't be able to enjoy as much freetime next near, because of her N.E.W.T. exams, so I want to let her study without regrets.
I plan to retire as a prankster when my sister leaves Hogwarts next year. I wasn't as invested in pranks as she even though I like to see the reaction of the people. I also have another hobby which I could give more time at this point. My familiars. Well they are more than a hobby to me, but you'll get the point.
After getting back I was again summoned to the Headmaster.
Because of my wit and getting the traitor, I got 100 housepoints, which honestly didn't get me excited. I mean why make a competition without a prize.
But I was happy as this time Fawkes was present and allowed me to pet and groom him for the time of my stay.
Then I got back to my routine of training and exploring or studying with my friends.
Two months later, in march, a package with a letter and pouch for sis and me arrived.
Uncle Sirius wrote that he became Lord Black and is now in the process of getting mom back in the family register. As a small deposit he sent us some pocket money.
His small deposit was 100 galleons, which is an enormous amount for two students.
He also wrote, he would get each of us a big present we could choose in the summerbreak for the missed birthdays.

So in the following months we dreamed about different things we would like and mine were all about magical beasts. But I didn't want to get him in trouble and researched on those he could legally buy in magical Britain. I excluded the ones living in the surrounding environment of Hogwarts, but had still had a few options.
What should I choose?
I think I will slowly choose till summer.
