"Ano... Mukuro-san, w-what should we do?"

Valerie asked while panicking as they walked through the streets of the advanced modern like city.

"Fear not for I has't a plan to solve our current predicament, Valerie Tepes"

"B-but we didn't make any progress for an entire week, Mukuro-san. We haven't ate anything ever since we came in this dimension"

Valerie says in a weak voice as her stomach growled in hunger for having nothing to eat for the past few days.

Both of them were placed in a dimension where a land blocked sovereign city state that contains multiple schools and institution of all levels along with several laboratories found inside the city.

They couldn't do anything since both of them have no money so they wandered the city trying to find a solution for their current problem but as days passed they weren't able to figure out anything that could help them.

"Nee... Mukuro-san, do you think we can complete our quest?"

"Of course... Though it will be difficult to recruit anyone in this city for they have a very... peaceful and stable life. At most we has't to find rejects to join our faction, since the humans of this world all posses a certain extent of power, I bethink they call those folk espers in this world"

"I... don't feel assured by your words, Mukuro-san"

"Hey you two!!"

A female voice called out to them from behind causing both of them to turn their heads towards the source of the voice and found a 14 year old girl with a short chestnut hair and eyes, running towards their location with a relieved expression on her face.

"I finally found the two of you"

"You are?"

Mukuro asked as she stared at the petite figure in front of them.

"Oh sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. My name's Misaka Mikoto"

"And what business to thy have with us?" (Mukuro)

"... You don't know? I heard that you two are wandering around the streets of Academy city even at night... It caused a lot of people to be suspicious of your actions so we were sent to investigate what you two are up to"

"I don't think you should say that to the people you should be investigating, Mikoto-san"

Valerie who was listening by the side commented before a cute growl escaped her stomach surprising Mikoto as a sudden idea came to her as she looked at the girls in front of her.

"Don't tell me... You two have no place to go to?"

"Uh..." (Valerie)

"... Is that's why you girls are always wandering the streets?"

"You're making us sound like we're beggars, Mikoto-san" (Valerie)

"We basically are at the moment, Valerie" (Mukuro)

"Ugh..." (Valerie)

"... Why didn't you two just say so, we could've helped you if you two just reported it" (Mikoto)

She said with a helpless tone while gazing at the two of them before grabbing both of their hands with a light smile on her face.

"Let's go, you two can stay at my dormitory if you want until we sort things out for the two of you, but first let's go eat, my treat"

She said before pulling both of them towards the nearby restaurants in their current street.

"Should we follow her, Mukuro-san?"

Valerie whispered as she looked at Mukuro who was calmly walking by her side.

"We has't nay choice but to follow that lady, I'll erase that lady from existence if 't be true the lady tries aught yond may harm us"

She said before following Mikoto without much resistance as the 3 of them entered the doors of the fast food restaurant.

"You can order anything you want as long as it isn't excessive"

She said as a waitress list down her order before looking at the two of them, waiting for them to say their orders.

"Ano... Mukuro-san, do you know how to use this thing?"

Valerie said while holding the menu in her hand.

"I know not, Lucias has at each moment taken care of our daily necessities at which hour we was still in our past world"

She answered while oddly holding the menu with her right hand.

"... What are you two doing?"

Mikoto asked with a weird expression on her face as she watched the two of them hold the menu like it was something foreign to both of them.

"... The two of them will have the same thing as me"

She said to the waiter before placing her sight to the two girls opposite her.

"S-sorry, Mikoto-san. Lucias-sama has always handled everything for us, so... we never really bothered going out of our house" (Valerie)

"... So where is this Lucias?" (Mikoto)

"It's... a complicated story, Mikoto-san" (Valerie)

"Complicated?" (Mikoto)

"Yes... I don't know how to explain it to you but... I guess we were separated from each other and now... we don't know where he is" (Valerie)

"Have you ever tried reporting it?" (Mikoto)

"The way we're separated is... unbelievable" (Valerie)

She answered with a helpless tone as the waitress placed their order on their table.

"Thank you" (Valerie)

"If you don't want to tell me, it's fine but at least tell me his appearance and if his an esper tell me his ability so we can try and find him"

"Just tell her, Valerie"

Mukuro stated before grabbing the large burger in front of her.

"Then... He is a 9 year old boy with golden hair and eyes, for his ability... I guess he can control the temperature around him at will like burn or freeze everything around him at a large radius"

Valerie answered without telling her the full details regarding Lucias.

"Is he a level 5 like me? By your description he sounds like he is as powerful as a level 5 esper" (Mikoto)

"Level 5? He is not that weak though..."

"Huh? You call a level 5 weak? Don't tell me his a level 6!?"

Mikoto shouted in shock from hearing a 9 year old boy to reach level 6, but found it strange that his name wasn't known throughout the city if he is the first to reach level 6.

"His level is 900 I guess?" (Valerie)

"Huh?" (Mikoto)

"Eh?

Valerie muttered as she titled her head to the side with a confused expression on her face causing Mikoto to stare at her with an odd expression on her face.

"Don't tell me you've never heard of it..."

Mikoto says in shock as she stared at the two of them with wide eyes from their ignorance.

"Hehehe~"

Valerie wryly smiled while scratching the back of her head as Mukuro who was by the side eating her meal, waiting for Mikoto to explain the leve

"... How did you two even survive without him..."

"Ano... Can you explain to us what this 'level' is Mikoto-san?"

"To explain it in simple terms, it is a categorization for esper abilities which determines how much a student has advanced in the Power Curriculum Program. The strongest right now in this city is Accelerator, a level 5... Oh yeah, I never asked, but are you two espers?"

"I guess so..."

"... Then can you both tell me your ability?"

She asked out of curiosity before drinking the coke from her glass.

"I can revive the dead and talk to the souls of the deceased, and Mukuro-san beside me can decompose the molecular bonding of the atoms around her"

"Pftt!"

Mikoto immediately spat out her drink, spraying it at both Mukuro and Valerie who was sitting on the opposite side of the table.

"What did you just say!?"

-with Lucias, Tobiichi, and Miku-

"Darling~"

"Lucias"

Both Tobiichi and Miku coquettishly called out while hugging her arms on both sides with a lovestruck expression on their faces as the vampire ninjas around them watched the 3 of them in curiosity and amusement from seeing the girls who brutally pummeled them to the ground was now acting coquettishly to the 11 year old boy sitting down next to the table.

"Ano... Sorry about your roof, Ayumu-san, I'll pay for the damages, I didn't mean to destroy your house"

Lucias ignored all of their stares as he apologized to the grey haired boy sitting opposite them.

"It's ok since you're paying for the damages anyway"

He smiled while ignoring the deadly gazes of the vampire ninjas aimed at his back if he refused his apology.

"Thank you, Ayumu-san, can we stay at your house for the time being? I'll pay for the renovation of your house to make it bigger for all of us to stay at"

"I don't thin- You can stay here as long as you like Lucias-san!!"

Ayumu hurriedly said, feeling a sharp dagger placed at the back of his neck as he felt incredible bloodlust coming from the girls around the room.

"Thank you, Ayumu-san"

He says in gratitude as he bowed his head at his direction with a gentle smile on his face.

"We don't have enough rooms in the meantime so you can sta-"

[He can stay in my room, Ayumu]

The white haired little girl slammed her small notepad on the table, cutting off the devastated Ayumu on her side.

"W-what-" (Ayumu)

"Ara, Sophiel-san even if you are Yuu-chan's little sister... I won't hold back if you eye my darling~" (Miku)

"Don't even think about it" (Tobiichi)

[I think you two misunderstood my intentions]

"What do you mean?" (Tobiichi)

[I just wanted to know the boy who took my older sister's heart... I already have someone in mind]

She wrote down before sneaking a glance at Ayumu who was crying at her side, ignoring everything around him from the devastation that he felt from having his Sophie taken away from him.

[Even though he is kind of... dense and stupid]

"You're pretty harsh on your crush, Sophiel-san" (Miku)

She wrote down as she took a sip of tea from her cup.

"If that's the case, then I guess it's fine... but if you try anything funny, I'll make sure you regret it!" (Miku)

-with Kurumi, Flandre, and Tohka-

"I shall conquer this stupid skeleton!"

Flandre shouted while riding the shoulder of an undead skeleton who is devoid of skin and flesh wearing an elaborate, jet-black academic gown adorned with golden and violet edges.

"How dare you call Ains-sama stupid!!!"

A beautiful voice shouted angrily while pointing at the child riding the skeleton's shoulder, causing Flandre to look at the source of the voice with a displeased expression on her face.

She found a woman with lustrous jet-black hair and the face of a goddess. She has golden irises and vertically split pupils; on her left and right temples are two thick horns protruding crookedly, and on her waist are a pair of black angel wings.

"Humph" (Flandre)

"This child!!"

"Albedo don't argue with the child"

"B-but Ains-sama!"

"Are you disobeying me, Albedo?"

Ains asked as his empty eye sockets glew bright red as he tapped his bony fingers on the table in front of him.

"P-please forgive me, Ains-sama!"

She quickly kneeled down on the ground with fear and... lust evident in her eyes as her black wings dropped down on the cold floor of the room.

"I don't want this to happen again, Albedo"

"I-I promise Ains-sama!"

"Then leave, and call Kurumi and Tohka inside the room"

"Understood, Ains-sama"

She said while gritting her teeth as she reculantly left the room while stomping the ground at great force due to the anger that she felt from the actions of the little girl that they took in a week ago.

"Aren't you tired acting tough, skeleton-san?"

Flandre asked while hugging his smooth skull with her soft and small hands.

"... I can't really show any weakness in front of them Flan"

Ains answered before taking her off of his head and placing her on top of the table while patting her head.

"You're weird, skeleton-san"

"Hahahaha, maybe I am, but thanks to you, I feel less stiff and stressed than before"

He says before taking out a piece of candy inside his inventory and placing it on her small hand before resting his back against the chair of his office.

"You called for us, Ains?"

Kurumi asked as she came out of her shadow along with Tohka who was happily munching on the meal that she obtained from the cafeteria inside their headquarters, The Great Tomb of Nazarick.

"Yeah, you told me before that both of you came from another dimension, right?"

"Ara Ara yes we did come from a different dimension... just like you Ains Ooal Gown"

"... Then, tell me everything you know in detail..."

He said before standing up from his chair before facing the maniacal woman in front of her who massacred the entire kingdom close of the east without remorse nor any mercy.

"... I might just help the two of you with this 'quest' of yours"
