"Grandpa, is this Anna Jadwin really as good as you say?" Candice barely suppressed her feelings of unease.
Master Bailey smiled and said, "Anna is a good girl, I like her very much!"
Raphael Bailey suddenly appeared, "Not just like her, if I were a few decades younger, would my brother even have a chance? She'd be our grandmother by now."
Candice was more than surprised, "Grandpa, would you prefer me or Anna Jadwin?"
"I like both of you." Having said that, the old man yelled, "Boltie, go check on the kitchen, how's the food preparation coming along?"
"Master Bailey, rest assured, I've added a few dishes that Young Miss loves the most."
Candice's mouth curved into a sweet smile, just as she was feeling happy...
"Anna's black chicken dish needs more time!" The old man took it upon himself to go to the kitchen and inspect.
Candice's smile froze, a strange feeling ~invaded her.
In the Bailey family, she was the only little Princess.
"Raphael, come here."
