Trenton Smith came over and kissed her face, gently saying, "I can't take you home this afternoon. I'll have Secretary Lindsay drive you back to the villa."

Norris Moore looked a bit dazed at the several policemen standing at the door and lifted her gaze to him, "..."

"I'm fine, I'm just going to cooperate with the police investigation." He reached up to smooth her messy hair from sleeping, "The weather is getting cold, remember to dress warmly while I'm not here for the next few days."

Norris Moore stood there, her expression slightly hesitant, and asked in a soft voice, "Will you be back?"

Trenton Smith smiled, "It's not a big deal. I'm fine."

Norris Moore slightly tightened her lips, watching Trenton Smith put his suit jacket on his arm, and followed the three or four policemen leaving the office.

After everyone had left, Norris Moore found a sofa to sit down.

She hadn't fully woken up, her mind was still a bit foggy, it feeling as if she was dreaming.
