As Tuzi leaned her head against his chest, listening to the soft beats from Taiga's heart, she wondered aloud in a quiet voice, "Was the white wolf really there…?"

"The white wolf was there that day. She is real."

It was his answer that prompted Tuzi to pull herself from his arms. With wide eyes, she gazed upon him with wonder. "Did you see the white wolf that day too…?!"

Assessing the look of surprise on her face, he answered carefully, "Yes… But only for a moment. Like you, I wondered if she was a figment of my imagination as well. I saw only a glimpse of her while she hovered over your form protecting you…"

His words floored her!

The delight she felt flooding through her frame, as if the Universe had opened its gates of happiness and poured all of its joy within her– Tuzi got up on the bed and began to jump up and down, squealing in elation!
