The glimpse of sunlight peeking through the window nearly blinded her, as she opened her hazel eyes for the first time in days.

Her eyelashes fluttered softly, while she attempted to adjust her vision. It was a moment before her surroundings settled within her line of sight.

From the soft cushioning which touched her back, Tuzi deduced that she was laying in someone's bed– Whose bed? 

She had no idea. 

Even gazing up at the ceiling, the room felt foreign with no recognition.

Where was she…?

It was his scent that diverted her from the momentary confusion. By now, she could recognize the man's delightful fragrance from anywhere. 

Tuzi did not have to look too far for him either– After turning her head slightly to the left, she found him there. With a chair pulled up to her bed, he had fallen asleep.
