No sooner did they arrive home, that the group noticed an eerie difference in the New Moon tribe village. Though many were tired from the three days of travel, the exhaustion did not blind their eyes to see how somber of a mood the community was blanketed in.
The members of the caravan wore confused faces, not understanding why there was such a sudden shift in the atmosphere. Before traveling to the southern market bazaar, everyone was happy and smiling…
Now, their family and friends looked like they've been through a war.
Many members were unable to meet the gazes of those who had just arrived home. A few were even wearing injuries and were bandaged up.
Some of the yurts in the village had suffered damage as well, and were still in the process of being patched up.
And rather than playing outside or training, the children were huddled inside their families' tents, looking out from the opening of the flap.
