The River Lethe is a mythical lore, told by nosy grandmothers from fairytale to fairytale. It is said that once a human dies, their soul would rush towards the River Lethe in desperation to get to their next life. Once one dives into the river, the memories of their past lives get washed away, and the soul is purified into their next life with a fresh start.

The river was not real. It is a setting of folklore legends.
