"And that's perfectly fine," the older man said with a shrug. "Just pay me when you have the money. I will only be in the next town over. I'll be by to visit or you can come visit me. No big deal."

"Because kid, you need it more than I do right now," Chang said with an exasperated sigh. "You are now a married man. You have a gorgeous wife. Your mother is sick. You all need to be together–"

"No no," Feng protested, shaking his head. "I'm so so sorry. We shouldn't have imposed upon you like that. Your plans don't need to change. I can have my family stay at the inn down the street. You don't–"
