Suzanne Trent watched, wide-eyed, as the esteemed Mason King handed her a large pack of fifty cents-a-bag snacks with quite a bit of gusto.
She could only imagine the kind of stares he was getting from the cashiers in the supermarket as the big boss himself inquired about the snacks in such a cautionary manner, trying to avoid the cameras.
She held back her laughter, shook the bag in her hand and said, "I've never eaten so many snacks even when I was little."
Mason King, seemingly thinking that too much of such food can harm the body, unlike his usual confident persona, mused, "Don't eat it yet, consult the team doctor first."
Seeing him trying to take back the snacks, Suzanne quickly hid the bag behind her. "No, it's fine to eat a little. Besides, they are just small plums and stuff. I will share them with everyone in the car later."
