Suzanne giggled in his arms.
"I've always been quite peaceful, willing to discuss everything with you, and never did anything too outrageous. Where do you get the word 'compromise' from?"
"There's no need for it. Some women just take advantage of the fact that I pamper and spoil them, respect and indulge them, and have all the arrogance and wilfulness of Mrs. King in front of me alone. Your fans and colleagues probably can't imagine what you look like when you're petulant and unreasonable." As the man spoke, he squeezed the hand resting on the back of her neck and moved it up a little.
Suzanne nearly collapsed into laughter in his arms. "I thought I was quite understanding, gentle, and elegant. When did I become like this in your eyes? Is it because I'm too strict with Lily's studies, and the two of you always secretly badmouth me?"
