By the time they had tidied up the mountain cave to the point where they could finally sit down without worry, it was almost 4 a.m.
Even though everyone had slept for quite a while on the bus during the day, the inevitable exhaustion and drowsiness caused by their body's internal clock were still difficult to resist.
It was still raining outside, but fortunately, the cave had been arranged well enough by everyone to accommodate them all.
It was hot in Washington, and although the rain and wind had attacked in the early morning, the cave didn't feel too cold. All they needed was a sleeping bag for each person to keep out the dampness from the ground.
