Suzanne Trent entered the house with the script in her hands, and just as she closed the door, she suddenly remembered that she had forgotten to do something. She quickly put down the script, turned around, and ran out to go to the supermarket downstairs.
She had written a list of items to get beforehand, so she wouldn't forget what she needed, but somehow, she lost it. But she didn't care much as she still remembered the essential items she needed.
Olivia parked her car by the fence on the other side of the residential area and saw Suzanne go into the supermarket. Half an hour later, Suzanne returned home with two bags of groceries.
"I'm back!" Suzanne went to the master bedroom and saw that Mason King had probably taken a nap that afternoon. Right now, he was slowly stretching his limbs. Actually, his condition seemed to have improved quite a bit since morning, and so was his overall appearance.
Mason had heard Suzanne's footsteps earlier, but he was wondering why she had left the house again after coming back. Now, she returned with shopping bags and set them down next to the bed.
"These are for you, mostly essential items." Suzanne said, taking out a new set of clothes, "That supermarket doesn't sell clothes, so I hurriedly bought two sets of men's loungewear in a small shop outside. You're probably around 1.9 meters tall, so these two sets should fit better than the one I bought earlier."
As she spoke, she held up the clothes and compared them to his body, nodding contentedly as she did so, "Not bad, not bad, the material is soft, and you won't feel uncomfortable when you take it off for the dressing change."
"And these indoor slippers, try them on for size, they should also work..."
Mason watched as she took out various items from the shopping bag one by one. Because he hadn't used any of these before, he found them quite interesting as she fiddled with them for some time, like the razor, which she didn't know how to use, and finally, she hesitantly placed it by his side.
"That's it, Daniel Turner, do you need any other essentials?" Suzanne figured there's no need to be so nervous and just directly called him by his name.
Mason was about to pick up the things she had placed beside him when he heard her suddenly blurt out his name, which made his body freeze for a moment.
At the time, she had thrown him a dictionary, just as a bored joke to test him. He had chosen the name casually, thinking it didn't have any connection with the King Clan. He hadn't expected the name to evoke such a response...
Suzanne asked again, "Do you need anything else?"
Mason's gaze shifted away from her face, and he pointed to the phone charging by the bed with his chin, "Your old phone, after charging it, I can use it. Please lend me your spare card."
"It can still be used? I've been using this phone for three years." Suzanne picked up the phone and saw that it was indeed still working, just not as responsive as a new phone, but that didn't affect its use. She removed the spare card from her phone and inserted it into the old one.
"Well, I saved my frequently used phone numbers, and I will be very busy for the next week. If your family hasn't found you by then, we'll make other plans. For now, let's just leave it at this."
She handed him the phone and was about to hang up his newly purchased loungewear in the wardrobe when there was a sudden, urgent knock on the door.
"Suzanne, open up!"
It was a strong and confident female voice.
Mason listened to the increasingly intense knocking on the door, indifferently and calmly looking at Suzanne, whose face had turned pale green in an instant.
Suzanne exchanged a glance with him, her eyes filled with trouble...
Why the hell did Olivia come upstairs?!
