“Why are you back so early today?” I asked while trying to figure out my next move.

“Would you rather I get back late?” He answered my question with a question of his own.

“No. I…actually have something that I want to talk with you about,” I said as I tried to sound normal.

The way my heart thumped loudly in my chest was far from normal. I wondered why he was just standing there.

He seriously doesn’t think that we should just talk here while I’m still naked in the bath, does he?

“I figured. Zain told me that you’re waiting for me in your room,” he said as he took a few steps towards the bathtub.

My entire body froze and although I wanted to lift my hands up to cover my bare breasts, I thought that the action would just direct his attention to my chest. I felt so bothered by his presence but Bradon was acting like it was nothing and that made me feel so frustrated and dumb.

“I’m actually done with my bath now. If you could just wait outside…” I said before trailing off.
