Walking side by side, Ellen and Daisy returned back to the ward. All through the way, Daisy could not stop thinking of how she had shouted and accused Wesley.
She knew she was wrong and she truly admitted she wasn't supposed to jump to conclusions just like that.
"Don't think too much about it," Ellen tried to console her. "I feel he is a gentleman. Everyone would be upset if accused wrongly and all you have to do is to reach out to him and apologize. And that would be all."
Now Daisy felt pretty much grateful that she has his number. She did not want to tell Ellen about that to avoid raising unnecessary suspicions. After all, she was just trying to convince her earlier that she really was set up and even though Ellen seemed to believe, she would not want to do anything that'll now make her suspicious.
"I'd reach out to him," Daisy simply muttered.
