I smiled as the white-haired woman in my arms was comfortable in her position. My memories with her weren't complete, but the important ones are there: all the memories of us going on adventures together, all the intimate moments we shared, and all the happy memories we made together.

I sat on the bench with her on my lap while I stroked her back. Her cries began to calm down, and she snuggled in my neck. I felt her sniffing me, but I let her be. She stayed like that for a while but began to sit up after some time. She looked me right in the eyes with the most beautiful smile that I have ever seen on her face.
