章節 45: Love trapped

Daniel was there as I arrived at the bottom of the steps. I paused to take a breath before advancing toward the kitchen while ignoring him.

Daniel commanded Sarah, "Sarah, mind explaining why you think the baby is at risk." I hurried to face him.

"I don't know because Sir Clueless knocked me around and threatened to ignore your orders," the speaker said. He turned to Blake as I hissed.

"You hit the mother of my child?" she asked. I looked at Daniel, and he questioned

Blake continued, as I scowled at him, "She took out a large portion of the coven."

You threw me up against that wall. Daniel looked at me as I yelled, gesturing toward the living room.

Daniel whispered softly, "Come with me, and I will keep you safe until the baby is born." I could feel the internal conflict quite clearly. Although I liked him, I also detested him. Daniel's affection had me in its grip. I still loved him despite everything he had said and done to me.
