Daniel popped into my head as I stood by the window, watching the sun go down. In the void Daniel used to occupy in my heart, I experienced a sting of loneliness. I sighed as I regarded the dress on my bed because I knew that if I didn't go to the party down below, I might not live very long. Before putting on my tan heels, I hastily pulled on the flowing blood-red dress. I waited for Eric to get me out of my room because I was now locked in bed. I missed my kids because I hadn't seen them in days. I started to wonder if they still remembered me. The moment the door swung open, I leaped to my feet. I took Eric's arm after cautiously approaching him.

He grinned and said, "You look stunning," and I rolled my eyes. He turned away from me. Do not attempt to flee since I have magically ringed the house.
