As I dashed through the dark tunnels, the sound of snake's body behind me urged me to run even faster.

"That guy should be here by now," Alex's voice echoed in my mind.

Panic surged through me as I imagined the snake enjoying the dead rats I'd placed in the storage room.

Suddenly, a chilling hiss echoed through the corridor, making my heart skip a beat.

"I knew it! This guy's a monster, how can I outrun him with my small body?"

Glancing back, I saw the snake slithering out of the room, moving swiftly in pursuit.

"Come on, come on, run, run, runnnnn!" Alex's voice urged.

With adrenaline pumping, I picked up speed, breathing heavily.

But no matter how fast I ran, the sound of the snake slithering grew louder and closer.

'It's catching up,' I thought to myself.
