As Alex and Charles exited the office, they spotted Tony in a flamboyant white suit lounging in an extended Lincoln car.
"Your brother truly inherited the impeccable qualities of Uncle Howard," Charles remarked, observing Tony's flashy demeanor.
"The apple didn't fall far from the tree," Alex interjected with a quick wave. Compared to Howard, Tony was more flamboyant and possessed a higher IQ. When it came to charming the ladies, he was no less capable than his father.
"Let's go, we should greet him," Charles suggested.
"Absolutely, and you better pray he doesn't catch the attention of your students. I believe you wouldn't want to witness that scene," Alex teased with a smile.
"Haha, as long as he dares, I'll dare to throw him out of here." Charles laughed. Tony may be an ordinary person, but there were mutants with various abilities in the school. Charles doubted Tony would be foolish enough to try picking up girls here.
Alex also understood Tony's temperament. The women he pursued were either after his money or other things.
"Hey, brother!" Tony called out, beckoning and rushing over to Alex.
"Why are you here, Tony? You just show up without telling me?" Alex inquired with curiosity.
"I just wanted to see my dear older brother," Tony replied with innocent eyes.
Alex gave Tony a faint stare, sensing that something was amiss. This guy was undoubtedly being pursued by someone and sought refuge with him.
Feeling Alex's gaze, Tony chuckled dryly and explained, "I encountered a conniving woman who secretly filmed our intimate moments to blackmail me. Then her father came and now she's looking for me everywhere."
Alex shook his head in exasperation. He glared at Tony and said, "Enough of this here. If you still want to keep your little Tony, remember, the girls here have super-power. If you mess around, they will cut it."
"Absolutely," Tony nodded fervently, keenly aware of the repercussions. Dealing with his three super-powered sisters-in-law had been nothing short of a nightmare in his younger days.
The episode of Tony's visit to Charles' Academy passed swiftly. Despite Tony's nonchalant demeanor, Charles greeted him warmly, valuing his intellect and expertise.
....
That night, in the United States, in a town a group of youngsters reveled in a night of partying. Only Anna lingered outside.
It was the day her abilities manifested.
Anna Marie, known as Rogue among the X-Men.
Meanwhile, in a grand manor on the outskirts of New York, Shadowcat Kitty trailed behind Jean and Storm as they entered the estate.
"Kitty, you're welcome to stay with us tonight. There's plenty of room in the manor," Jean offered leading Kitty inside.
"Really? I can stay here?" Kitty asked incredulously, gazing up at the imposing castle-like structure.
"Absolutely. Although Professor Alex and Charles have a good relationship, their visions differ. Charles advocates for peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants," Jean explained as they walked.
"I believe humans and mutants can coexist harmoniously," Kitty declared, her mind drifting to the two women who had tormented her. It was a despicable memory.
"So, the organization led by Charles is called X-Men, and the one founded by Professor Alex is called the Garden of Eden. They aim to welcome Mutants who prefer a peaceful life over fighting. I remember Professor Alex having a great relationship with Eric, who established the Mutant Brotherhood. His goal is to make humans recognize the social status of Mutants and often finds himself in conflicts with them," Storm, her long white hair flowing, elaborated.
"Even though that sounds cool, I still want to live like a normal person," Kitty pondered and replied.
"Absolutely. We want that too. But when the world needs us, we'll offer a helping hand, just like during the Apocalypse catastrophe ten years ago," Jean added with a warm smile.
"Ten years ago? I should have been five years old at that time," Kitty exclaimed in surprise.
"Hmm, ten years ago, there was a Mutant named Apocalypse who aimed to rule the world. However, he was ultimately defeated by the Professor, turned into sand, and vanished into ashes," Jean recounted with a light smile.
"Cool!"
The three girls engaged in a lively discussion about the Apocalypse catastrophe that occurred a decade ago. Alex guided Anya down; this year, Anya was only fifteen, the same age as Kitty.
"Come on, you two, dinner is ready," Alex urged.
"I'll fill you in on Apocalypse later. Let's eat first," Jean said, taking Kitty's hand, and they dashed into the room.
