Stryker's Base
Alex glanced over at a cluster of mutants and quickly realized that once they stepped foot into the base, their powers became useless. He shook his head in dismay, noting, "Stryker's no stranger to capturing mutants, and he's well-prepared. He's got an electromagnetic force field that knocks out their abilities."
Looking out at the distant Cairo skyline in Egypt, Alex remained calm. "Apocalypse has a lot of prep work to do before he can take over Charles' body. Meanwhile, let's have a little fun with Stryker."
"Is Stryker just getting started with his experiments?" Alex wondered as he trailed behind Stryker, using his telepathic abilities to get a grasp of the situation inside the base.
After a while, he located the warehouse housing Adamantium. Inside, he found a vat of molten Adamantium, still blazing hot.
"Adamantium, indestructible..." Alex thought about the unique properties of the metal.
With a thoughtful stroke of his chin, Alex reached in and grabbed a handful of the liquid metal, effortlessly absorbing its heat and solidifying it to room temperature. It felt like water but denser.
Alex's fingers delicately cradled a handful of the now-solid metal. The room temperature renders it more akin to a tangible piece of art than the fiery liquid it once was. His power, an extension of his very essence, allowed him to mold the Adamantium like a sculptor shaping clay, each movement deliberate and controlled.
As he examined the transformed metal in his hand, a sense of awe washed over Alex. The secrets of Adamantium, unraveling in the palm of his hand, bestowed upon him a newfound ability. He could now weave the essence of this indestructible material into any substance.
"Mission accomplished. Time to get the kids out of here. But first..."
Alex couldn't help but frown at the sight of Logan locked up in a sturdy metal cage, sedated and frozen.
He freed Logan. Logan recovered quickly with Alex's help. In a section of the base, Alex noticed several mutant students who had been taken from Mutant College. Then they teleported towards the kids along with him.
"Hey there, little ones, you all okay?" Alex teleported into the noisy room where the children were held, scanning their faces with concern.
"It's Professor Alex!" The mutants exclaimed with surprise, recognizing him from his visits to Charles' Mutant School. If you were friends with Charles, you were practically a professor yourself.
"You guys seem alright." Alex grinned, effortlessly crumbling the wall in front of them.
Scott and the others approached cautiously after the wall fell, but Alex just smirked at Scott, confident in his abilities.
"Alright, kiddos, gather 'round; let's get out of here," Alex instructed the children, casting a glance at the Blue Devil and Scott.
"You two, too," he added, his tone carrying a sense of inclusion.
Placing a reassuring hand on a young mutant's shoulder, Alex teleported them, along with Logan, back to Charles's manor.
"You're safe now, little ones," Alex reassured them with a warm smile.

After that, Alex went back to give Stryker a parting gift, a symbol of retribution for the atrocities committed within the confines of the base.
The night sky bore witness to a final act of retribution as Alex, his gaze unwavering, conjured a powerful energy ball. At that moment, the air crackled with palpable energy, and with precision, he unleashed the fiery sphere upon Stryker's fortress.
The impact was thunderous, a symphony of destruction that resonated through the once-imposing structure. Walls crumbled, and the echo of chaos reverberated as if the very foundations of injustice were crumbling under the weight of their sins.
The base succumbed to the relentless force of Alex's fury. The flames danced with an ethereal beauty, consuming the remnants of Stryker's ambitions. The acrid scent of burning steel and the roar of the inferno became a requiem for the darkness that had pervaded those corridors.
The once-formidable fortress now lay in ruins. Amidst the remnants of Stryker's base, Alex stood, his gaze fixed on the fading embers of the inferno he had unleashed.
The flickering flames painted a canvas of redemption, each ember a symbol of liberation for those who had endured the shackles of Stryker's malevolent grip.
"Consider it a parting gift," Alex mused, his voice carrying a resonance that matched the fading echoes of destruction.
The fiery remnants of Stryker's ambitions were now scattered like ashes, carried away by the night breeze. Now, Stryker can do his experiments from the comfort of hell.
