Liza hummed down the Hall way while two maids followed behind her "Layla! Anna!" Liza said loudly both maid stood still because Liza had never spoke to them although she was kind she never spoke to anyone since the night she came to live here. "Lady Liza are you okay?" Anna asked "why yes of course why wouldn't I be?" " mmmmy Lady you're speaking!" Layla nervously said "mmm I figured it was time I chatted with you" Liza stated with a kind smile " I know how to speak I just don't like to speak you learn more about people that way" Liza giggled " what would you like to speak to us about?" Questioned the maids " Oh I was wondering if you knew where Sir Ruben was?" Liza shyly asked both maids had an astonished look on their faces which made Liza giggle anxiously. Liza grew up nervously and shyly she was beloved by both her brother and Ruben who both doted on her and protected her she never needed to speak because some how the men knew what she always needed. "So?" Asked Liza " oh um he's on the training grounds with Lord Tristan my Lady" Anna finally spoke. "Thank you let's go shall we!"
Once all three Lady's arrived at the training grounds all the men stopped and gawked at the woman who have arrived. Ruben was the first one to approach Liza " Well well well look at what we have here little dove" Rubens nick name for Liza had always been "Little Dove" Liza loved it she felt special Tristan was second to approach " Now dear sister don't tell me you want to fight now do you?" Liza smiled widely at the two men who were in front of her who she loved and cherish " I just woke up today and wanted to say I Love you both dearly" Lady Liza then bowed and then stepped forward and hugged both of the men one by one and then turned around and walked away. Tristan stood there gawking at his sister and the fact she just spoke Ruben on the other hand blushed aggressively at the words and the touch the Lady had just done to them. " Did she just speak?" Questioned Ruben " well we aren't def are we?" Said Tristan both stunned and shocked as they watch Liza walk into the house Tristan looks at his best friend who use to be his butler and saw how his sister words affected the man much differently then him "Um Ruben you sly dog! You love my sister!" Ruben smiled and shook his head "Tristan you're blind I do not love Liza the way you think I do!" Exclaimed Ruben.
The years had taken a toll on Ruben he was once kind and gentle now he was ruthless rough and cold he used woman like they didn't matter and Tristan knew that, even after everything Ruben was still kind to his sister he had a huge massive soft spot only for Liza and Tristan honestly approved of the relationship. Ruben was handsome wise and also had eternal life. Tristan doesn't know at what point Liza will stop aging he could never find that answer in fact he had never found any information on her curse other then the fact she will never die. Tristan stared at his Friend " Look I know you love her just tell her at this point it's just sad" Tristan shook his head and walked back to the group.
Ruben stood there a little longer, "Maybe I do love her more then what I thought… I feel warmth when I'm with her…no way I'm not in love I am mean and cruel I'll show her how cruel I am" Ruben thought childishly.
Ruben was also cursed with immortality for an unknown reason he had never aged passed 30 his hair was still dark maroon and his eyes bright golden brown with evil behind them and a smile that would make anyone fall in love with him but also scare them because he never ever smiled. Ruben walked back to the group.
Back in the Castle Liza walked around the halls aimlessly like she was thinking hard about something the maid often wondered what was going on in her head. Unknown to them Lisa knew exactly what she was what she could do which is one of the reasons she never spoke for fear she would speak to much. She was a Hybrid of a witch and vampire she had sent a bird to spy on the ones who murdered her family. Liza is probably the smartest person in the Land and the most cunning however she is never cruel. "Lady Liza are you okay" Layla said softly she was fond of the girl smart and silly in her own way could write in many languages which impressed the maid Layla "I think it's time to get ready for the ball I have so many surprises for everyone!" Liza exclaimed suddenly. The maids looked at each other fearfully because even though Lady Liza was never Cruel she was harsh when it came to whom she despised and the ball had more people the Lady despised then not. Lord Tristan is the same way the maids thought he has killed more then anyone in the Land for no reason other then being bored. "Hello Layla Anna! Come come we must hurry! I hope Ruben comes!" Liza exclaimed Suddenly and the maids mouths dropped at Liza's words.
In the Dining room Ruben and Tristan were sitting talking about whom they will get rid of next "What about the Duke of rolling hills?" Ruben Spoke " he will be at the ball tonight, what a lovely time." Ruben smiled mischievously Tristan laughed " Ruben sounds like we shall go to the ball then" Tristan twirled the glass in his hand he had been wanting to get revenge on how his family had been treated in Rolling Hills he has just been waiting on the right moment. Suddenly Layla and Anna burst through the door in a hurry. " Mmmy Lords we wish to speak freely" "Speak!" Tristan said annoyed " umm you see the Lady she is umm getting ready for the ball… and well she wishes that Sir Ruben be her escort!" The maid hold their cheeks and breath as they wait a response laughter erupted from the two men " Layla and Anna calm down it is alright Ruben will escort the Lady if she wishes" Tristan smugly said. Ruben about dropped his utensils on the ground mouth gapped open. " Tristan what about our plan Little Dove is to innocent for this" Ruben said after the maid hurried out. " Ruben do not worry about your Little Dove she has something up her sleeve and I'm very excited to see what she does, mmm she has grown into a fine and confident woman and very strong willed I see" Chuckled Tristan.
