"Any news?" Thalia asked, her eyes red with tears, while Travis comforted her in his arms.

He wished he had something good he could say. Unfortunately, he had nothing. So far, nothing changed since the last time they talked. 

"Nothing significant." Damon felt his heart twisted in pain at the thought of the horrible things that could be happening to his wife.

It had been hours since he last saw his wife and his mother. At this point, he had no choice but to declare them officially missing.

However, he kept the situation under wraps, limiting the news to his trusted men, family members, and close friends. He believed it was better if he could control the situation.

"We need to keep this within ourselves." He specifically instructed everyone involved. They could not let outsiders know, especially the press.
