"What was he thinking?" She still could not fathom the nerve of that man. 

Did he think that she was that easy? Just because he helped her, she would give in to what he wanted. Well, he thought wrong. 

She could still picture his smug face each time she would close her eyes. And it fucking irritated her. Nevertheless, she would show him that he would have to go through the eye of a storm before he could fool her.

"Did he truly think I would consider going out with him?" Thalia sat on the counter, waiting for the real estate agent to arrive. 

They were about to complete the purchase of the new place where they were about to open their business. There were a few concerns, but nothing that should hinder their transaction.

"Why not?" Jules asked as she wandered around the room while pushing things and shoving some moveable racks out of the way.
