"What are you doing?" Lately, Damon seemed to be asking himself the same question repeatedly.

It had been nagging at him like a broken record, playing incessantly inside his head. But there was nothing he could do to stop or fix it.

At least, he had not figured it out, not yet. He had tried many things, but nothing seemed to work. His usual methods just were not good enough.

"And drinking will solve your problem..." He mocked himself in front of his reflection as he gazed outside the closed window.

It was dark, but the natural light from the moon and stars illuminated the scenery outside his window, giving him a spectacular view.

But just like the glass in his hand, he knew looking at the moon was not helping him with his situation. Nothing was, not even wishing upon a star.

"I wish..." But that was an absurd idea as he shook his head. He must be crazy even to consider such a childish act.
