She quickly pulled away, startled by the other voice that joined them in the room. Once again, she had another unexpected guest.

"What is with this day?" It seemed it was full of surprises.

Or should she say it was her unlucky day as her eyes followed the woman who walked further into the room as if she owned the place?

But unlike her, Dale was not as quick to pull away as he reluctantly let her go. It looked like he was also startled by the other person's sudden presence, but it was not enough to unnerve him.

"I asked a question. Isn't anybody going to answer me?" The authoritative voice of the elegantly dressed woman reverberated inside the room. 

Of course, she wanted to tell her it was not what it seemed, but she doubted she would believe her. Still, she knew she had to say something.

"It is... Hmm. It is nothing." Jules finally found her voice as she denied what would seem obvious to another person's perspective.
