The force of the slap resounded in the air, and the person who had been slapped coughed out blood, her body shaking as if it was about to fall.

However, because of the wooden plank pinned to the ground, playing as a support guard for the girl, she didn't fall at all.

Standing in front of the girl was a shrouded figure wearing a dark cloak, his features unknown and yet the dreadful energy he emitted was enough to scare the wits out of the girl tied to the plank.

"Are you not going to tell me where your mistress is?" the cloaked figure's voice croaked as he asked her the same question for the umpteenth time.

However, the tied girl spit the blood out of her mouth at the cloaked figure and spitefully responded, "Even if I knew, I wouldn't tell you a damn!" her words were provocative. "So, do you your worst!"

It wasn't like they were going to let her live. How long have they been torturing her?
