章節 80: An amazing entrant

"Well, little sister, I must congratulate you! You have prevailed once again," Bella said, her words brimming with a multitude of emotions that would have overwhelmed even the most discerning listener. Her tone was a tapestry of joy for her cousin, Sylvia, mingled with an unexpected shyness about the subject, yet tinged with frustration at not being the first to accomplish the feat of establishing a happy and fulfilling personal life. Moreover, she felt a hint of anger at herself for her indecisiveness regarding a certain unscrupulous dragon.

"Thank you, Bella, and I apologise," Sylvia replied awkwardly to the congratulations on the imminent engagement. She embraced her cousin, seeking to convey a small measure of her own confidence and support through the gesture.

Greengrass did not doubt for a moment that the fate of her beloved sibling was predetermined. She had seen the way Salazar sometimes looked at her, but she would not speak of it to Bella. If their mentor had not yet broached the subject, she would not raise it with her sister either.

From the moment of their introduction to their mentor and discovery of his true identity, Sylvia's mind had been in turmoil. To think that she would one day marry one of the most renowned figures in the magical world! It was hard to imagine that in just a few years, she would be wed to the most ancient and esteemed head of the wizarding community.

— When are you planning to hold a gathering to celebrate this occasion? Oh, I can already envision the expressions of our English counterparts and not just the beau monde, upon hearing this joyous news. After all, such a strengthening of your family will not go unnoticed, even among allies.

Only a deaf man would not detect the sarcasm and irony in Bella's words.

— At the end of August. You see, she is aware that Gaunt has begun to lose ground and has started to intimidate some of our factional allies. Now, our parents are keeping a close watch on the movements of our faction supporters, attempting to identify those who are weak in spirit or wavering, so to speak — potential turncoats. Well, those two-faced individuals with treachery in their blood, if you will. That is why we are holding back this information for now. And once the list is compiled, it will be like a bolt from the blue! No matter how arrogant and self-assured Marvolo may be, he cannot compete with the archmage of old.

It was the latter half of June, 1968. The young ladies had just returned from Hogwarts, having excelled in their OWL examinations. After spending a few days at their father's residence, where they reunited with their parents and boasted about their achievements, they embarked on their vacation to the domain of their mentor, an island nestled in the midst of a respectable expanse of ocean. However, England does not lavish its inhabitants with the blessings of sun and balmy coastal waters.

Indeed, the upcoming academic year holds great promise. Vasilisa and Vasily, freshmen, join the school, and the anticipation of their arrival is heightened by the arrival of the Brans-Greengrass family. Moreover, our esteemed mentor has taken the initiative to recruit over a dozen new students from our cohort.

The fact that their apprenticeship will be structured through a formal contract, rather than a personal arrangement, adds an additional layer of complexity to our Hogwarts experience. I have no doubt that we will be tasked with guiding these new arrivals. However, it is worth noting that we ourselves have already demonstrated proficiency in several areas, and our mentor's goal is to transform us into fully-fledged wizards. As he has stated, teaching is considered a fundamental skill for any self-respecting wizard.

"How grandiose!" Bella scoffed at this deduction. "Moreover, all the prospective students Svyatozar handpicked for his own use, from our cohort, we have already assisted with their studies throughout their academic journey, even after our interest club formed, which comprises all of these individuals. And we have not encountered any particular difficulties in this regard. To be frank, I find it far more agreeable to be in company with these particular sensible individuals than to pass aimless and laborious time at our home faculty in the communal lounge, where I am compelled to feign being someone I do not comprehend." She spat out Bella's exasperation and chagrin. Then, withdrawing from her friend and confidante, she stretched out her arms and retreated to the chaise longue.

"You're overlooking another aspect that will impact our, to be more precise, your workload," Sylvia said without preamble, regarding her cousin with an enigmatic gaze as she reclined on the chaise longue, basking in the "Caribbean"-like sunlight.

"Oh, do not toy with me. Tell me precisely what you mean," Bella replied, her voice languid as she lay stretched out, not bothering to turn her head or open her closed eyes. Her mind was preoccupied with her own thoughts and the injustice of the world, as she yearned for her own happiness and that of her beloved.

"I take it you haven't even glanced at the list of readings provided for this summer's preparation, which you are expected to have completed prior to the commencement of the new academic term?" Sylvia inquired, her voice laced with a hint of impatience.

Without awaiting a response, she continued, "As far as I can discern, this year's training regimen with you will diverge significantly from our usual course. While I will be engaging in intensive practice of spells and the construction of magical constructs, with a strong emphasis on hands-on experience, your focus will be directed towards spiritual exercises and techniques aimed at fortifying your mind and spirit."

The two fell into a brief silence, Sylvia seemingly content to bask in the sunlight and the refreshing sea breeze that caressed her skin. Meanwhile, Bella's mind churned with thoughts, seeking to make sense of the impending changes in her training schedule.

"It is curious and inscrutable," Bell articulated his thoughts aloud without arriving at a definitive conclusion, "and what is your opinion on the matter?"

"You will be prepared for some intricate, elevated, and perilous rituals. One cannot speculate on the nature of these rituals or whether they are singular or multiple. It is a task fraught with uncertainty. However, you must approach this task with utmost diligence and commence practising the techniques and meditation practices outlined in the literature your mentor provided for your summer reading, and commence this endeavour without delay."

"Of course," Bella responded automatically, heeding her intuition, which foreshadowed significant transformations in her destiny within the next year or so.

For a moment, the young women, though they were barely sixteen, lay in silent contemplation. It was an extraordinary indulgence to allow themselves such leisurely repose during the final five years of their adolescence, but then Sylvia broke the silence with an exuberant voice.

Nonetheless, our mentor is remarkable. The manner in which he effortlessly and without any direct confrontation was able to identify and cultivate the most promising and rational future leaders from among the younger generation, leaving the radicals and light-minded individuals behind, is truly admirable. He did not allow Albus and Marvolo any opportunity to compete for the attention of our new cohort. Furthermore, he accomplished this within Dumbledore's domain, without any opposition from Salazar, effectively shielding young minds from the allure of being part of our esteemed circle. Once our classmates sign apprenticeship contracts with the master, they will be removed from the influence of their families, regardless of which camp their parents may consider themselves aligned with.

Following the successful completion of their OWLS examination, as stipulated by English law, wizards and witches attain emancipation, granting them the legal authority to independently enter into and execute magical contracts. Once they place their signature on a contract for apprenticeship under the guidance of a certified master, their status shifts from being under the jurisdiction of their family head or magical guardian to that of the master themselves. All accountability for their actions now rests with the master.

This practice is not standard, but it is explicitly outlined in the contracts drafted by their mentors. Consequently, Albus's staff will not be replenished this year with a fresh influx of pure-blooded, half-blooded talents, or Muggle-born individuals, as the offer made to the most promising among them by Ormarr Drake surpasses anything the director could have offered. Albus was not above resorting to blackmail, bribery, or even simple intimidation to expand the ranks of his personal army.

The same applies to the former Riddle, or rather, the pure-blooded society, within which there exist a diverse array of customs and perspectives on the education of young individuals. Among those who have recently entered into an apprenticeship agreement with Ormarr Drake, there are several pure-bloods, including one heir to a prominent family, who have chosen this path to distance themselves from familial bonds and avoid the "affectionate care" of their relatives, who may resort to the use of the Cruciatus Curse. Additionally, there are two young women who have also accepted the mentor's offer, both destined to marry respectable gentlemen, who have been patiently awaiting in the halls of Hel, displaying a vile and sadistic nature.

Svyatozar, however, has approached his role as a teacher and guide with remarkable competence, as he firmly believes and repeatedly emphasizes. His primary objective is to instill in his students the ability to think independently and develop the capacity to prioritize in their lives.. Thus, all those who were offered the opportunity to become an acolyte, whether directly from Ormarru Drake or through one of his witcher liegemen, eagerly and gladly accepted the invitation.

The same principle applies to his private students. Over the course of the past five years, he has nurtured highly pragmatic wizards from them who have not forsaken their human virtues and who have meticulously analyzed and assessed the forthcoming events of the upcoming academic year. However, they are still unaware that this year, alongside the «heirs» of the Mraks and the «protégé» of their mentor, the heir of Gryffindor Ronald, will attend Hogwarts for their studies.

Svyatozar has discovered a method through which it is feasible to accomplish the resurrection or, rather, the reincarnation of his long-lost friend Salazar from his memories. To accomplish this, Ronald was required to wholeheartedly embrace the concept of God and adopt the faith in the One, which proved to be a relatively uncomplicated task for him, particularly after he learned the identity of the entity that is now revered and worshipped by the general populace.. Thereafter, Svyatozar annihilated the hat, and the soul merged with it descended into his realm, where it was promptly attended to and restored. Subsequently, he dispatched it to be reincarnated as one of his subordinates — a witcher, or more precisely, a witch.

This task was no simple feat, as Svyatozar expended considerable effort in preserving the mental essence of the soul intact, while simultaneously isolating from the astral body those elements responsible for the identity and information matrix of Ronald's true self prior to his union with the hat. Furthermore, it was crucial to safeguard the enchanted intellect, along with Ronald's affiliation with the Gryffindor lineage.

The young couple of witchers, who had been informed that the young mother was to bear a child for their lord and god, took this news with great honour and utmost trust. They were not surprised, therefore, by the intelligence and awareness of the newborn boy.

Ronald, now eleven years of age, is set to receive a letter from Hogwarts this summer, as England was chosen as the place of his birth. However, in order to avoid premature commotion, Svyatozar, with his powers, concealed Ronald's name in the Hogwarts' Book of Souls, yet he participated in Rowena's enchantment of it.

This year is poised to bring significant turmoil and disruption to the aristocracy and ruling elite of England.

"Indeed... And now I have truly lost my mind to the task I have set for myself, one that I was compelled to undertake due to the altered nature of my character under the influence of my own primal instincts," I reflected with a sense of dismay. My impatience and impulsiveness have grown, and I find myself easily succumbing to my desires, ready to move forward without hesitation, despite the obstacles and potential detours, in a quest to expedite the process of reaching my goal.

One of my avatars was currently trapped in a temporal loop within my domain, in a laboratory where the passage of time relative to both Earth and the magical realm was effectively frozen, and the eleven months I had spent there were equivalent to only a few hours in the external world.

The purpose of this loop was to calculate a vast array of rituals, accompanied by a complex series of potions and elixirs, along with a regimen of practices and meditation aimed at accelerating Bellatrix's ascension to the rank of Archmage in at least three distinct spiritual realms as soon as possible, prior to her coming of age.

Given her unique abilities and strengths, my goal is to empower her to become virtually unrivaled in the realm of mentalism, transforming her into a Higher Psion and an Archmage of both Astral and Magical Arts. These are the areas where she possesses the greatest potential, excluding her gift of Metamorphism, which would prove more challenging to master.. It is a daunting task to elevate the first or second soul shell to the status of archmage, a feat tied to the gift of metamorphosis. The mundane absorption and assimilation of powerful beings' souls will no longer suffice, as I intend to assist my future spouse in achieving this goal through the realms of astral, mental, and magical abilities, thereby unlocking the eighth soul shell. This development of her talent will pave the way for the numerous opportunities that lie ahead once she joins my harem.

While I may have initially been apprehensive about actively guiding her on her journey to becoming a formidable sorceress, I could not bear the thought of waiting a millennium for her to reach the required level of power to become my rightful consort without intervention. My attraction to her is undeniable.

Indeed, maintaining one's strength is a challenge. My brother, however, has it easier. He simply needs his beloved Sylvia to master several of her spiritual realms, ideally becoming an archmage in at least one of them. Once their engagement is formalized, the spiritual bond between them will no longer oppress her, but rather serve as a catalyst for her growth, propelling her towards her future partner's level. The culmination of this union will occur once the girls reach the age of legal majority, at twenty-one, when any romantic involvement would be detrimental to their spiritual development.

The situation with the gods and their marriages is somewhat more complex. In order to avoid any adverse effects on her legal wife through the resulting connection, Bella must possess a robust soul and an additional layer of protection. Otherwise, my influence could destroy her potential in its bud.

However, I am not merely a deity with a predominant energy and a manifestation of Primal Darkness and True Light. Chaos also resides within me, thanks to the presence of Sholotl. I fear to imagine what could happen to my child if she were to receive even a hint of my power through the engagement bond. Chaos is a fickle entity that can perform the most extraordinary and unexpected feats, and I am still struggling to master it. It takes centuries to fully comprehend the primordial energy that gave rise to all existence.

Thus, I must elevate my beloved to the rank of Archmage without delay, so that we may be betrothed before she reaches her full magical maturity at the age of twenty-one. This will ensure that by the time we consummate our union, there will have been at least a period of time since the inception of our spiritual bond, allowing her to accustom herself to the idea of marrying such an extraordinary creature as myself.

Speaking of wives, following our sexual marathon, during which they received from me artifacts that were designed to provide the necessary flow of energy for the development of the embryos of our children, they spent only one week in a state of constant weakness. I provided them with the necessary support for their growth and development, as well as for that of the children.

However, they soon realized that during moments of closeness and spiritual union, during resonances, the children absorbed more energy than was necessary, even more than what they could absorb from the surrounding power during this state of madness. This realization served as the impetus for May to initially gently involve me in another intimate encounter, which was subsequently joined by all my other wives without my even noticing.. At present, as I, the eleventh of my kind, engage in the intricate calculations and preparations for Bella's evolution, the remaining ten of my physical forms indulge in a debauchery with my beloved beauties. It is my understanding that this state of affairs will persist until the birth of our offspring.

All of this is done for the sake of our children! Indeed, it was a shared aspiration among each of my loved ones, and their insatiable desire for intimacy with me was not the sole reason for their actions. Regardless of how quickly they may become nymphomaniacal in the future, this program will occupy them for at least the next several years, as our offspring will require no less attention during this period.

But it does not trouble me unduly. I have faith in their fortitude and resilience, and I do not mind at all; on the contrary, I welcome their liberation from my influence. As it happens, my libido is indefatigable. Who would doubt it, after all? It is only that I, the eleventh, am somewhat vexed by the fact that a dozen others are engaged in this fascinating and exhilarating pursuit, while I am here, twisting my convolutions in an effort to augment the number of spouses with whom I might indulge in licentiousness!

Indeed, I have come to envy myself.

That being said, I have already completed the initial calculations, leaving only final touches that can only be made after meeting with Bella and obtaining her diagnosis, in order to make clarifying adjustments to the rituals. However, this will occur at the conclusion of the summer, when it is time to perform the first ritual of absorbing the astral essence of the middle circle of power.

Therefore, it is time for me to return to my domain, as I am eager to engage in intimate moments with my beloved wives. As soon as I departed from the time loop that I had created, I began walking slowly towards my bedroom. This was necessary for me to remove the mental barriers (the portion of my soul enclosed within my body) that I had erected during my calculations. It was essential for me to maintain my clarity of thought while engaged in these calculations.

However, something unexpected occurred when I was engaged in this process. A message came through the link, not merely expressing curiosity from my clone but forcing me to resort to profanity: "Damn it!"

What an extraordinary event has occurred! To fully appreciate it, let us briefly delve into the intricacies of my professional journey at Hogwarts.

Albus harbored a deep-seated envy towards my unconcealed success in recruiting the younger generation for what he deemed his domain. He endeavored to obstruct my progress in every conceivable way, yet he could only act within the confines of his position and the terms of my contract with the school. His only recourse was to assign me with a plethora of tasks, which were already within my purview as a Hogwarts instructor.

Using his authority, Dumbledore burdened me with duties that extended well beyond my regular responsibilities, often requiring my presence in the school during evenings and nights. These obligations encompassed not only monitoring the observance of order within Hogwarts' walls but also engaging me in the restoration and maintenance of the protective and domestic charms that enveloped the castle. However, I remained steadfast in my commitment, resolute like a swan.. He was unaware that I possessed nearly three thousand executive duplicates with the rank of Archmage power at my disposal, and this arrangement had been in place for the past five years. However, prior to this, he had never assigned me the task of introducing Muggle-born students to the realm of magic, as he did not wish for me to leave a favorable impression before the pupils arrived at school.

But given my successful performance as their teacher throughout the school year, it seems that Albus, to my perception, was utterly resigned to the fact that he could not alter this undesirable situation. Therefore, I resolved that even if I were to manage to handle the workload he imposed on me and engage in recruiting, my removal from the noble task of traveling to the mundane world during the summer months and serving as a guide for newcomers to the wizarding school would be of no consequence.. This year, for the first time ever, I was granted such an honour, and on the twenty-fifth of July, in the year of our Lord nineteen hundred and sixty-eight, it fell to me to pay a visit to two prospective students residing in London — Miranda Thiel and Alex Mercer. The latter's name, moreover, brought a smile to my face, evoking memories of an anime I had once viewed in a past life.

Naturally, one of my duplicates was dispatched to accomplish this task today. He decided to pay a visit to the Mercers, and once matters with this family had been concluded and the child had been released to me in Diagon Alley, my intention was to pay a call on Miranda Thiel.

When my clone materialized in front of Alex's house and pressed the doorbell, a prospective student of the local school opened the door. Judging by the age of the child who stood in front of me, a highly sophisticated mental and astral magema emanated from the young person and directed itself towards my clone. This was an ingenious construct designed to interact with the infosphere, aimed at recognizing and acquiring information about the entity before it, and I am not ashamed to say that it was a remarkable feat of engineering.

The magema managed to traverse the channel of a connecting golem, essentially my own clone, and reach my true self, my soul. It swiftly devoured the cunning and nearly imperceptible recognition enchantments, leaving me feeling, to put it mildly, like a fool. In this world, few individuals are capable of bypassing my defenses, which are perpetually bolstered by my clones. Yet, this young child accomplished it with a playful ease.. In light of the current circumstances, his given name and surname no longer appear to me as mere coincidences, but rather as a salutation from my former world.

These thoughts and reflections raced through my mind at such a rapid pace that it seemed like no time had passed in the physical world, as I exchanged places with my doppelganger, allowing me to observe the rapid transformation on Alex's face. For a brief moment, surprise, recognition, fear, and then terror were evident on his features, before he abruptly spun around and attempted to flee from me. However, there was no chance for him to escape. Before he could even complete his half-turn to slam the door with a resounding thud, a spell of paralysis struck him in the back.

Afterward, I lifted his body and left my double behind to assist with the task of sorting out the identity of the child whose parents I was interested in, while I accompanied Alex to my realm. There, I promptly led him to the ritual chamber to conduct an examination of this figure who had managed to surprise me so greatly.

In Alex's presence, I felt no apprehension for my own safety. His gaze, like a window into the soul, was impossible to evade, rendering any attempt at deception futile. The sight before me did not present any immediate threat, though I was taken aback by the revelation. Mercer's inner essence revealed a maturity that surpassed that of a typical fifth-year Hogwarts student, one who actively pursued their studies and personal growth. It was a maturity beyond his eleven years.

The paralysis I inflicted on Alex represents the pinnacle of my expertise in the realm of enchantments and incantations, affecting all layers of the soul simultaneously, plunging them into a state akin to a coma.

With meticulous preparation, I crafted a ritual circle that epitomized the culmination of my current understanding of magical diagnostics. This circle was designed to unveil the deepest secrets of both the soul and the body of my subject. Once everything was in place, I positioned Alex's body within an octagram, a figure formed by eight points, enclosed within a circle of runes representing higher-order beings. Immediately thereafter, I commenced my examination of Mercer.

From the initial, secondary, and even the thirtieth inspection, I failed to detect any suspicious aspects of his persona, save for the anomalous spiritual shells that were incongruous with his age and an unusually robust, innate mental defense mechanism. Such anomalies are rare, yet they do occur, and had it not been for his assault on me with intricate detection charms targeting my clone, had I encountered such an individual on the street, I might have simply marveled at his development; however, I remained uncurious.

After delving into his surface thoughts and monitoring the operation of his spiritual shells while in a state of coma, I gained an impression of an unnatural aspect to the scene I was witnessing. His spiritual shells appeared to be in perfect harmony with one another, without any parasitic dissipation of soul energy through his aura. Upon further observation of his mental slices, I recognized his authenticity as false, though it did not lead to any concrete conclusions.. After all, I had absolute confidence in my spiritual perception, and it was impossible to conceal it beneath a superficial layer. I began to ponder deeply what kind of peculiar creature I had encountered.

In terms of superficial thoughts, I found myself caught up in a whirlwind of anticipation for the upcoming holiday, which had been organized in celebration of his birthday by his parents, along with other trivial matters that had little relevance to reality. This was clearly not what I should be focusing on at the moment.

Where was the horror and fear that had overcome him, leaving a trace of panic on his face as he attempted to flee from me?

Hmm... In the past, as an Archmage of the Mental, such a task to overcome such protection without causing harm and the risk of damaging the child's mind would have been an impossible feat. However, since becoming a Higher Psion and the God of the Mental, this has become a possibility.

Of course, my intrusion into the mind and destruction of the barrier will not go unnoticed by the child, but I am confident that I can preserve his mind without collapsing his personality. Moreover, I was certain that no irreparable harm would occur if I destroyed this protection, as it is clearly not linked to the child's mental shell, but rather to something else that needs to be identified. Something sinister is at play here. A child should not possess such a perfect and developed soul with such protection in place. It is highly unnatural!

And thus, I exerted a modicum of pressure on the protective measures, which, in terms of their strength, would do credit to a master of Occlumency — repugnant as it may seem — and therein lies a forgery. However, earlier, the protection appeared to me to be at a level commensurate with that of a magician who had only recently embarked on the path of mental magic. I breached Alex's true consciousness, and everything fell into place. I found explanations for all that was inexplicable about the child.

Although, what on earth is this child? The consciousness of this body is over fifty years old, its name is Vadik, and this fungus is a hit to the system! It is just that it does not clarify the situation with the system itself; I do not see it. I see the aftermath of her work and deeds, for the boy's psyche is so swollen and structured, thoughts and images about her in the mental realm too, but not her herself. I have explored his soul in every spectrum, but I cannot find anything.

Hm… And if so, then I have filled my energetic organ, the region of the soul that is responsible for sensory perception, with chaos. And now, I have finally beheld an incredibly beautiful spectacle, and it has become clear to me why I could not perceive anything before.

What are soul shells? They are our reflection, the shadow cast by the soul on various planes of existence. While the physical body resides in a three-dimensional space-time reality — the material world — all other shells represent our presence on other planes: prana, astral, sensory, mental, magical, and divine, depending on the level of soul development.

Alex, in addition to manifesting his soul on these seven planes, also had one more shell in Chaos. Only beings attuned to this energy and possessing the necessary knowledge can perceive it. The entire system was a vast and incredibly intricate network of modules created from structured chaos, offering a truly remarkable sight. This substance intertwined through the dimensions of primordial Chaos, attaching itself to the atman. On this formation, there was a mark indicating its owner, and I am not referring to Alex.. The entity that bestowed such a gift upon the fool is undoubtedly a creature of the highest caliber. Prior to this, the very concept of such an occurrence seemed inconceivable to me. For after all, chaos is antithetical to order, yet here, through the concentrated and crystallized state of its essence, it has been harnessed as a means of insulation from the hostile environment of the interdimensional realm, allowing for the construction of a complex and well-ordered structure. Yet, all operations within the system are carried out by distinct and disparate energies.

For seventy-nine days, I remained undistracted from the study of this masterpiece of artefact, which was Alex Mercer's system. About this individual, Vadim, or Vadik as he was known, a degenerate and reprehensible person to the point of horror, who was nothing but a hypocrite and a despicable character. To those around him, he appeared to be obsequious and polite, yet at the same time he was a slovenly and unrefined individual, a cauldron of filth and depravity.

Vadik was not particularly intelligent, and from an early age he blamed others for his problems. He brought home bad grades from school, claiming that it was the fault of the doctors for his asphyxiation during childbirth, which occurred when his neck became entangled in the umbilical cord, depriving him of oxygen and potentially high intelligence. Yet, deep down, he also held his parents responsible for his poor genetic inheritance.. It is for this very reason that he was overweight, and not because, from the early grades of school, he consumed all sorts of unwholesome substances and wore out his buttocks on the computer chair purely out of necessity to attend school or other obligatory locations such as the polyclinic or store.

At the age of 42, when this unfortunate individual met his demise by choking on potato chips while engaged in viewing pornographic content, he resided in a dilapidated two-bedroom apartment that had been inherited from his deceased parents. His existence was supported by a pension that his mother had procured for him at the time, as well as income derived from renting out a one-bedroom unit that had also been inherited from his grandmother.

He lacked both friends and relatives, and his entire life and passions were centered in the virtual realm. His interests lay in hentai, manga, video games, and pornography.. And so, the fool was fortunate, being reborn, already within the cycle of samsara. Even before his spirit began to shed its mortal coils, he was seized by an unknowable force and dragged to a realm sheltered within the chaos, where he was presented with an offer he could not decline. The fool's dream had come to fruition!

He was cognizant from the outset of the nature of the world he was to be reincarnated in, and no sooner had he found an opportunity for independent action and been able to depart from the watchful eye of his parents for an extended period, did he commence his endeavor. The system was not generous with tasks, and his entire progression through the "levels" of his "character", which he conceptualized as his personal playground in this world, was predicated on acts of violence.

His "ascension" commenced with the dispatch of a feline and her offspring. Initially, he administered a sedative that he had stolen from his neighbor's elderly caretaker, who had once looked after him in childhood. Once the cat and its kittens had succumbed, he placed them in a sack and transported them on his bicycle to the river, where he augmented the living cargo with a few stones and released them into the depths of the Thames. However, the souls of these unsuspecting creatures did not yield substantial experience points, and he began to contemplate the idea of targeting a human.. And this was the nameless vagrant in London whom he encountered in a secluded alley, inebriated. At the time, he was only eight years of age, yet his strength was sufficient to deliver a series of powerful blows with a piece of masonry to the head of the intoxicated indigent. As a consequence, this young degenerate had already been responsible for nine deaths, including that of one of his elderly neighbors who had once served as his caregiver. By the time he reached the age of nine, he had already attained a degree of proficiency in telekinesis that was both impressive and finely honed. He employed this ability to obstruct the flow of air to the elderly woman.

Once again, I was overcome by the passion for research, and I believe that I once again fell into a frenzy of scientific activity, akin to intoxication! Yes, indeed, eleven is an inauspicious number.
