On my way to Midtown High I changed back into my human form as I thought about the goblin formula. I had been looking into it as I was doing my spider venom experiments. I had found out that it was not compatible with my Titan DNA and I had no real use for it. It saddened me because it was very similar to the super serum that Captain America had gotten and would help me greatly in my quest for strength.
I was debating on having my whole crew use it once It was perfected by me. If I used it now they would all turn insane. Many of my crew were useless in combat and this would fix that to some extent. I didn't want to give them all the X-gene because some mutant powers are more of a burden than a power to the people that get them and part of me was on guard to even those around me.
Growing up as a Titan I had learned to be paranoid of others, most importantly the people I surrounded myself with. It would be foolish to just give them possible powers that could harm me, but with the Goblin formula I knew it wasn't at the level of harming me and I knew what kind of power they would get when they used it. It would be power enough to be of great help to me, but not a threat.
After landing next to Midtown High I parked my puddle cycle and kept it cloaked as I waited the last ten minutes before school ended. So far I realized that all the people of this Universe somewhat looked like their movie counter parts to some extent and I felt I could probably pick Peter Parker out of a line up without ever actually seeing him before.
As I stood at the entrance and watched as they all left, I realized for once that even though I was ridiculously tall and muscular compared to most my age, I actually somewhat looked my age now and could pass as an extreme jock type.
Finally I saw a kid that looked similar to Tom Holland as he walked out with his funny and round friend Ned that resembled a hamster wearing a Hawaiian shirt. Seeing Peter look my way, I motioned for him to come my way and he did, but Ned followed along.
"Did you need something?" Asked Peter as Ned was looking down at his cell phone texting someone.
"Peter Parker right? Id like to talk to you in private if you don't mind".
Peter looked at his friend Ned who looked up at me. "No problem, Ive got somewhere to be anyway"
Peter looked back at me after Ned said bye to his friend and left. "Okay, what did you want to talk about?"
I led him to my puddle cycle and decloaked it before speaking once again. "I have a job offer for you if you are interested. Here's my card with my number and my main stores address. If you are interested in a part time Job after school, we wouldn't mind hiring an intelligent person like yourself. If hired, you will have a generous salary and I can also give you a full ride to a college of your choosing. Don't worry, it's nothing shady. I just wish to be your mentor".
After giving him the card, he took it without thinking, because his mind was still on the weird looking motorcycle that just appeared out of thin air. As Peter stood there in shock trying to understand what was going on, I got on my puddle cycle and took off in front of him before recloaking the bike and myself and flying off towards my store.
Peter being the intelligent and curious kid he was, he would more than likely show up at my shop later and so I forgot all about him for now and got moving onto my next target Doctor Samuel Sterns.
Arriving at Grayburn College, I parked my puddle cycle and then asked around for where I could find Dr. Samuels. It didn't take long before I found myself in front of the door to his labs. I found out that he wasn't currently on campus and so I left my card and a small note before leaving and heading back to my shop.
I wasn't in a huge hurry to meet him, but I wanted to meet him sooner than later if possible. With the help of Dr. Samuels I would be able to add the strength of the hulk to myself. I wanted to establish myself as Earths greatest Hero before the Avengers did. My Titan pride didn't allow for others to be above me no matter what I did.
When my father comes to earth, I wanted it to be a battle of mostly just him and myself. I didn't want the Heroes getting in our way. I needed to establish dominance before he got here. The first step to that was to recruit a few of the heroes and have them under my wing while also showing my strength when it mattered the most.
Arriving at the shop Vi'kog informed me of the stores progress. We had reached out to some wealthy people within this universe and had invited them to visit the second floor. We offered crazy services like extended life, organ/limb regrowth and healing, and other things that people would find hard to believe.
All it took was one wealthy customer to spread the word to other wealthy people in need and then I'm making even more money. I didn't want to rely on my stargate money in this Universe any more than I needed to. I worried that even though the cash was identical, it could be a problem later for whatever reason. The fastest I could start gaining this universes currency the better.
According to Vi'kog nobody has called or emailed us about the second floor yet, but many every day citizens have walked into the first floor of the store and either looked around or bought something. The most popular item on the shelf right now was the new and improved visor I had gotten from the Star Trek universe.
After understanding the tech, I had began to mass produce them. Many people would do anything to be able see the world around them and it was a huge hit here like it was in the stargate universe.
They were fairly pricey, but once word got around that they worked, people from all over flocked to the store to try and buy their own. Each visor was originally sold for 1500 usd and I had made sure to patent it before I had started to sell it so I wouldn't see any copy cats later. Not wanting the store to be constantly crowded, I raised the price to 5499 usd and although we still got a lot of customers, it wasn't near as crowded as before.
