It took Vi'kog over a month to establish himself within the lower levels of Kingpins criminal following. He was quickly known for a guy that could get the most dangerous jobs done without a scratch and was liked by most. Since Vi'kog had already killed a number of people, the other criminals knew he wasn't a cop or a snitch and were happy to direct him to someone that does fake id's.
I didn't need sleep due to being a Titan, so I hadn't slept for the last few months as I worked on the escafil cube trying to fully understand it. A few days ago Vi'kog had come to me with my new ID, birth certificate, and SSN. I had debated on changing my name in case my father had heard I was on earth, but he wouldn't have eyes on earth for a quite a while so I should be safe with my current name.
Only, looking down at the ID card in my hand I realized it was very obviously a legitimate looking ID card, but at the same time, due to my name it looked like it was on par with a Mclovin ID card. Maybe I should have given myself a cool Russian name like Rufus which meant 'red'. Hindsight is twenty twenty.
Vi'kog had also kept his name, but he used the Kingdoms name as his last name and dropped the apostrophe, so his name was now Vikog Ephyra. Most would probably just think we were foreigners that migrated or at least that was what I hoped.
Today was the day I had finally fully understood the escafil cube and had absorbed it within myself. I could now morph myself into whatever species I touched without worry of being stuck that way. I also had a lot more control over how I morphed. I could now keep my Titan power by not fully transforming into human and only altering my exterior appearance.
I could also imbue the power of transformation onto others if I wanted. I don't think I ever will though because It was a scary power to have in the marvel universe and some others. I didn't like sharing the good stuff either.
To celebrate I not only bought a building for my company store that would help me establish my identity, but also took Vi'kog out drinking. We had a good time and Vi'kog even brought a chubby woman back to the motel and fucked her brains out. She wasn't bad looking aside for the extra weight, but I felt Vi'kog could probably do better but just hadn't been with a woman in a long time and so chose not to be picky.
I wasn't a cockblock so I had gone off to do other things while he was enjoying himself for once. I went to a nearby library and started filling out all the paperwork id need to start a business. After that I had commissioned a large stainless steel store sign that said 'Titan', at night it had lights attached to it that lit it up red. When it is delivered I planned to put it in the patch of grass that was in front of the building. It was 6 foot tall and 12 feet wide so it would be seen from afar.
After I was finished, Vi'kog and I both left the motel and moved into the office building I bought straight out instead of renting. It had three floors and a basement. The top floor would be where Vi'kog and myself will live when we weren't in the stargate universe or out exploring.
The second floor would cater to the extremely wealthy and the first floor was for the common man that wanted to buy something. Most of the items that would be bought here would be things of little value to me that I find in other universes, but would sell well here. The basement was off limits to even Vi'kog unless I invited him in. I would be doing most of my work there.
The store not only establishes my identity as a businessman, but also acts as a front for what takes place in the basement. I planned to have Vi'kog run the store. If he senses a threat at anytime he simply needs to press a button and the building will go into lockdown mode.
I installed ancient shielding that could surround the building when needed, a code wall I got from the doctor who universe that allowed only the qualified people to enter the basement, and cloaking technology to cloak the basements entrance. The building could even self destruct if I wanted.
It wasn't overkill in this universe because even with this, someone with magic could probably still see through it all. Although I would love to learn Marvels magic to some extent, I felt it was best to avoid it for now. I didn't want to encounter the ancient one quite yet.
I had spent quite a bit of money the last few weeks to the point It was suspicious to any outside eyes that may look into it. I would need to start making sales fast while also paying off all the right corrupt and greedy politicians so that it can be ignored.
Although I planned to be my usual self even on earth and kill those that needed killed, I wanted to appear to be a good guy as much as possible. It was vital to have decent relationships with the avengers and the world if I was to complete my plans before my father Thanos arrived and snapped his fingers. So on the surface everything needed to appear legal.
After everything was finished I sent an email to Oscorp, more specifically Norman Osborne. I made him an offer he couldn't refuse. A day later he replied asking to meet for lunch at some posh restaurant that he probably uses for business often. I let the email sit for half a day before replying that his offer was acceptable and that my people would contact his people if something comes up and I wouldn't be able to make it.
Although I remember it being confirmed that Oscorp did not exist in this Universe when the green goblin confirmed it himself in one of the spiderman movies, I guess it did early on and something must have happened to it early on.
Norman was a treasure trove of power just waiting for me to come in and steal. He had a number of different radioactive spiders that could give you spider powers if bitten by them, a vast amount of technology, the goblin formula, and many other things that could help expand my abilities.
