章節 20: Axiom (part 2}
Sure, in the Wall-E movie they show them landing on Earth and walking around a bit, but long term I just couldn't see them surviving. That's the difference between reality and fiction I guess. These universes I'm going to aren't just fictional stories, but real places, with real people, What happens when the story ends for these universes? More than likely they continue on where the story left off. If Wall-E's universe continued where it left off, I couldn't imagine a good life for them.
It wasn't only the lack of nature on the planet, but the fact that their bones couldn't support their weight for long periods of time and also the fact that the ship that landed on earth in the movie wasn't the only ship out in space waiting to go back to earth. There were quite a few out there. This is where reality and fiction collide. What was an open good ending in the movie, isn't so much open or good in reality.
Luckily, I have become part of their reality by coming here. These people haven't done me any harm and if I am going to steal from them, I may as well take them to a world that they can survive in and let the earth in this Universe heal with their absence. I have to take this ship back to earth anyway.
As I was thinking, I snuck onto the elevator that lead up to the Captains quarters and waited till a robot heading to his room came around. The ship and it's people have good luck, because my cloak had 30 seconds left to go when a robot got on the elevator with me and made it's way to the captains quarters. If my presence had been made known before I made it there, I would have had to go the less nicer route of acquiring what I want.
When the elevator opened up to the Captains quarters, the captain was sleeping in his bed when my cloaking suddenly turned off. I made my way to his bed and put my hand over his mouth while I woke him up. The Captains eyes shot open and went wide with panic upon seeing me looking down at him with my hand over his mouth.
I whispered to him, but by doing so I unintentionally sounded scarier than what I intended. "I'm here to save you and your people, relax please. I come from a world with lots of plant life that you and your people can settle on. All you have to do is call Auto and I'll explain the plan to him. Nod your head if you understand."
The obese Captain nodded his head and so I slowly removed my hand. After sitting and thinking for a second and seeing that I wasn't attacking him, the captain spoke up. "Auto, I need you here".
Right after speaking Auto came out from the ceiling and appeared in front of us. Before Auto realized I was in the room, I reached up and grabbed onto him, opened his power box panel, and then pressed the red button to shut him down. After that, I pulled him out of the ceiling and crushed into a ball of scrap metal.
Seeing this, The captain got scared once again. "b-but you... y-you said you would just tell him t-the plan".
"I lied, now say 'confirm acquisition'.
"Confirm acquisition?" The captain asked as a different robot came out of the ceiling and started to scan the room. I held out a plant I had grabbed from earth for the robot to scan, before the robot grabbed it, it moved close to the captains face, and then spoke in it's robotic voice. "Voice authorization required"
The captain in shock due to the events unfolding didn't know what to say. "Uhhm"
"Voice authorization accepted" The robot replied before grabbing the plant from me and taking it away.
Not needing the captain anymore and afraid he might fuck up my plans if I let him be, I lightly tapped his head and knocked him out cold. Right after knocking him out, I heard a ship wide notification on the ships speakers. "Plant origin verified, course set for earth. 10 seconds till hyperjump".
The ship then counted down from 10 and then hyper jumped to earth and the ships autopilot took over and landed on it's own. Slinging the Captain over my shoulder, I made my way out of the ship and sat him on the ground before looking up at all the people coming off the ship in droves. They were all off their hover chairs and walking for the first time, but struggling to stay up for long.
After they were all off the ship, I woke up Eve and spoke to her. "Your mission is done, the plant I gave you was taken by the Captain and they all returned to earth due to it, follow me from now on if you want a new purpose".
Eve seemed confused, but I ignored her and then sent the captain of the ship through a portal to the Gate Universe. He was the only one that could mess up my current plans for the ship and I didn't want him around when I took what I wanted from it.
"Tuka follow me, eve you follow me if you want as well".
I then headed back onto the ship and started grabbing everything that interested me, making a pile of tech.
The ship had a lot of big hover pallets that could hold quite a bit of weight. I have been needing something to carry my items around on and these seemed almost perfect. Almost, but not quite perfect. I had a few features in mind to add to them if I wanted to be able to use them in space. I had a lot of stuff to move to the stargate universe and these were needed if I wanted to do it efficiently.
I had no work room here to reverse engineer the tech and make new tech, so I grabbed what I could for now and made my way back to the stargate universe with Tuka, Eve had no real purpose left and so she followed us, still not fully aware of what was going on, but just going with the flow.
The next time I come back to this planet, I am going to strip this ship of all the tech I can.
