Upon setting foot into the house, the expected flurry of questions was fired at her almost immediately. One after another, the queries rained on her head without a breather. 

How could she answer all of them at the same time??

"It happened unexpectedly... I couldn't inform you."

Talking her way inside the house, Doris shot a brief look at the interior. First thing first, this house sure looked neat and cozy. Her brother was living in such a place? She expected to enter a messed up place of sorts where you'd get lost under the pile of trash on your way to the bathroom. But this... Was actually good?
