“Acting like a kid, Edward.” I made a face as the man who held his hand on my shoulder set his index finger back. Today, Edward wore a big sweater over a shirt with a floral pattern inside. That made me look past him.
"Sometimes, you're dopey, Tan," he said, making a mocking laugh. I furrowed my brows, preparing to argue but then began to realize that the opponent had a backup.
“In some things, Tan is a lot more stupid than others, Edward.” Net agreed with Edward.
“Agreed.” I held up my hands in surrender. Edward's face was filled with joy, but this was the easiest way for me to not have to argue over an argument that I did not stand a chance to win.
“Stop smiling, Edward. Let's hurry up and get the boarding tickets first. I come to pick you up at this building and then have to walk back to the international terminal again.” I changed the subject as soon as I had the chance.
