In front of them was a great hall. The skeletons piled up ten times their height. All around there were vines intertwined on the old and worn walls. Spider webs were almost everywhere. On the high pillar was a sculpture of an angel spreading wings holding a giant scythe. Its carved eyes were a scarlet gem. Below was a sculpture of a malformed skeleton dancing around the room. In the hands of those sculptures were yellow lanterns… with the eternal light.
