Over the next two weeks, everything went smoothly, in fact, in my opinion, very well; my place now seemed more lively. Sometimes, I taught Lily to play games, read her fairy tale books with challenging words, and they both learned to operate the television by themselves. Since I already had a washing machine and Grandpa Xian diligently wielded a broom, my place became even cleaner. I felt living this way forever wouldn't be so bad. As for Grandpa Xian, I still couldn't quite understand the language he used, which seemed foreign and he didn't seem to speak any other language apart from his native one, but he always seemed to understand what I said.
