"Nothing. You're so hot, Amelia,"
Ethan said gently, indicating something.
She slightly opened her eyes and said in a sorrowful tone, "I'm Sophia. Amelia is dead,"
"Sophia? She is indeed cautious.
Can she really become another person for her plan?
No, it's just a name. She remains who she is," Ethan thought.
"Okay, Sophia. My name is Ethan. You're the manager and I'm the CEO. Nice to meet you."
After that, Ethan kissed Amelia passionately.
Amelia opened her eyes and felt that she had been turned on by the kiss for some reason.
She was in a daze, not knowing what to do. Ethan had been a cold and arrogant person in her memory. Therefore, she felt strange when he took the initiative to kiss her.
Observing Amelia's blank expression, Ethan paused and gazed at her tenderly.
"What? You don't have feelings for me?"
"Feelings? Don't have feelings for him?" Amelia repeated Ethan's question in her heart.
Her face gradually turned red because of Ethan's simple question, making her nervous and causing her to breathe quickly.
Ethan gently touched Amelia, from top to bottom, and said beside Amelia's ear, "Let's feel each other again and see if the feelings will be the same when you change another identity."
Amelia's temperature rose higher and higher due to the tender touch and sweet talk. Eventually, Amelia and Ethan began to passionately embrace each other.
"I ... I'm afraid it will hurt."
"That's okay. I'll do it gently. You won't get hurt."
Amelia felt so nervous and embarrassed, but obviously, Ethan couldn't wait for it.
Finally, they consummated their relationship, which turned out to be a wonderful experience for both of them.
"That's weird. Why didn't he call me after the party last night? Did he forget me?"
Rosetta received a call the next morning. After hearing the news, she frowned and said to herself sadly.
"I heard that some manager had come back. I have to see what kind of woman she is."
Like before, Ethan got up early and made breakfast. When Amelia woke up, Ethan had prepared a delicate breakfast. The fried egg roll and the fragrant cheese appeared simple yet provided nourishment.
After dressing up, Amelia went upstairs and saw Ethan was preparing the food in a good mood.
"Breakfast?"
"Yes. You should have some. You're the new manager. Don't be late for work today."
As a new manager, she would feel stressed more or less. It was not like the intern who could avoid communicating with others in a separate office. Thinking of this, Amelia frowned slightly and nodded.
"Feel stressed?"
Ethan glanced at Amelia. He was very good at reading others' minds. After all, he was the CEO of the Grand Group.
"Yes, I'm afraid that I will blow it."
The faintly worried look on Amelia's delicate face made her more attractive to Ethan.
Ethan smiled, and there was some emotion in his deep eyes.
"You don't have to be afraid. The CEO is your husband,"
In a deep voice, Ethan said that slowly, as if he were indicating something.
"CEO and husband. Did he mean that I can exercise my rights as his wife in the company? Can I view him as my husband rather than my boss? It seems like a great privilege," Amelia thought.
She sighed with a smile and shook her head. Then she waved one of her fingers,
"Work and private life should be separated. I'll not make things difficult for you at work. Although I possess your love, I'll prove my ability at work by myself."
Ethan looked at Amelia and started to feel a little upset.
He thought that Amelia would say something sweet to ask him to take care of her in the company.
He used to worry that Amelia might become arrogant with his love. However, it turned out that Amelia didn't even try to take advantage of his power.
"Good for you,"
hesitating for a while, Ethan nodded and praised Amelia.
"Well, she does need to be more powerful. It's great that she wants to prove herself even though she might fail. She has to carry out her revenge by herself," Ethan thought.
"I'm full. Let's go."
"Take your bag upstairs. I'll clean the table."
Amelia was pleased to see that. She thought that Ethan might stop doing any housework after he told her that he was a CEO.
Therefore, seeing Ethan clean the table as usual made Amelia believe that he would be a great husband.
Gradually, Ethan became a part of Amelia's life, and Amelia had gotten used to Ethan's presence by her side.
Rosetta went to work early, waiting to see who the new manager was and how this woman deserved the special treatment of Ethan.
She paced back and forth in front of the CEO's office, feeling anxious. She was eager to know the answer, but she was also a little worried.
She was looking forward to knowing what kind of outstanding woman the manager was.
However, she had been waiting for a long time, and her mixed feelings made her uneasier.
Later, Ethan walked toward Rosetta. Seeing Rosetta, he hesitated for a moment and walked to her.
"Ethan,"
Rosetta greeted Ethan in a shy and sweet voice. Rosetta used to be a cool and straightforward girl, so it felt strange to Ethan to see her speaking like this.
Ethan's good mood disappeared instantly. He put on a smile that would only appear every time he saw Rosetta, and nodded slightly.
"When did you come here? You want to see me?"
Rosetta followed Ethan into the office. Ethan sat on his chair, while Rosetta sat opposite him.
"Ethan, I heard that there is a new manager in your company. I didn't attend the party last night, so I want to see her this morning."
"Okay," Ethan said and nodded. He was impressed by how fast Rosetta could get the news about the personnel change of his company.
"Do you want to have something to drink?"
"Well, I'm good. I just want to see the new manager. Can you lead me to meet her?"
Ethan's sudden question distracted Rosetta's mind. With her eyes wide open, Rosetta quickly shook her head and came back to the original topic.
Rosetta was not interested in drinking anything. She only wanted to see the new manager.
Ethan nodded and looked at Rosetta solemnly.
"Yes, there is indeed a new manager. It's the normal personnel change, but it's not appropriate to see her now. It'll affect her work."
"What about after work? Or I can take a quick peek?"
Ethan sightly sighed but maintained his smile. However, he was a little impatient,
"It's not convenient now. If you're interested in knowing her, I'll let you see each other in the future."
Disappointedly, Rosetta pouted. Although she was not happy, she had to behave herself in front of Ethan.
"Okay, I'll go home then. I want to have dinner with her someday to see if she is really a talent or not."
Ethan nodded and said, "Okay, but sorry I can't walk you out. There are a lot of contracts for me to deal with."
Somehow, Rosetta felt a little embarrassed. "Did he try to kick me out?No, he is the CEO. He must be very busy," she thought.
Rosetta nodded at Ethan and left the CEO's office.
After Rosetta left, Ethan loosened his tie and felt much relieved.
