章節 26: Clash in the Land of Rice
The Land of Rice was shrouded in darkness as Team Tokutchi advanced towards their mission's target. Their goal was to eliminate a group of rogue ninjas, led by a formidable former Jonin from Kumogakure. With swift and precise movements, the team approached the enemy hideout, each member aware of their role.
Gathering his team, Tokutchi outlined the plan, "I'll handle the rogue Jonin. Ken, Aya, Sado, you take on the Chunins and Genins guarding the entrance. Stay focused and work together."
Ken nodded confidently, preparing himself for the upcoming battle. He turned to his teammates, "We've trained for this. Let's show them what we're capable of."
The four shinobi split up, their movements blending seamlessly with the shadows. Ken, fueled by the idea of his newly developed jutsus, focused his chakra for the Earth King's Wrath. With a powerful hand gesture, the earth beneath the enemy Chunins trembled and cracked, binding them in restraints.
Aya's hands crackled with energy, and she unleashed her Earth Spike Thrust, sending sharp spikes erupting from the ground, catching the Genins off-guard and incapacitating them.
Without hesitation, they pressed on. In the midst of the chaos, Ken noticed the rogue Jonin approaching Tokutchi. His heart raced, and an overwhelming surge of chakra surged through him. "Take cover!" he shouted, preparing to unleash his new jutsu.
Massive stone pillars erupted from the ground, catching the enemy off-guard and providing his teammates with cover. Aya and Sado quickly took shelter, watching in awe as Ken displayed his newfound power.
With coordinated efforts, the enemy forces were overwhelmed. Ken, Aya, and Sado's teamwork was impeccable, their abilities complementing each other flawlessly. The rogue Jonin, unable to match Tokutchi's unwavering strength, eventually surrendered.
As the dust settled, the team regrouped, taking a moment to catch their breath. Ken couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. "We did it," he said, a satisfied smile spreading across his face.
Approaching them, Tokutchi's eyes gleamed with approval. "Well done, team. You handled yourselves brilliantly out there. Ken, your new jutsus proved to be effective."
Ken felt a surge of pride, grateful for Tokutchi's recognition. "Thank you, sensei. Your guidance has been invaluable."
Tokutchi patted Ken's shoulder, "You're a talented shinobi. Keep honing your skills, and you'll become even stronger."
After Ken started returning to Iwagakure. He became skeptical and asked Tokutchi, " Sensei, We are always hunting down rogues and fighting enemy Jonins. Isn't it the work of Anbu?"
Tokutchi smirked. " Yeah, If I think about yeah why did I take it ?".
Ken didn't know what to say ' I ask you, you ask me'. Tokutchi shouted, " I remember I took the mission from Anbu mission hall no wonder clerk was angry when I asked him to write me the report".
He suddenly looked at Ken and smiled," Ken you will take the quest from now on and write the report and brief the report to the old man in the Tsuchikage office."
Ken regret his curiosity. Unknown to him Tokutchi had pushed Ken in the eyes of Onoki who is the grandfather of shamelessness. Who will torture him with all kind of work.
After reaching home. Ken was about to go to his home but Tokutchi gave the mission report and asked him to brief it to Onoki. Without giving him any minute he disappeared Infront of them.
