Alex felt envious as he flew through the clouds in the sky. The beast was weaving its route through the clouds and exercised all the freedom it could as it moved around. It was able to do something Alex was incapable of doing now.

Finally, they broke through the clouds and the flying beast they were travelling on decided to go up vertically.

“Oops, I forgot to tell you but grab on tightly for the next two minutes or so. Otherwise, the fall would kill you instantly.”

Alex instantly grabbed onto the fluffy fur that surrounded him and felt his body leaning backwards. Any later Alex would surely have fallen from the beast’s back.

‘My arms burn. How long do I need to keep holding on before I can let go?’

Alex wanted to ask this question but dared not open his mouth. The fast-passing wind would not be kind to his face…or throat. So, Alex endured it all until the beast broke through the barrier and its head emerged from the clouds.
