Hearing the loud explosion not far away, Orochimaru cautiously approached the scene, having already investigated the situation to some extent.

Yaksha wanted to retort, but seeing the increasingly cold and murderous look in Orochimaru's eyes, she fell silent.

Yaksha deduced that if she died, Orochimaru would not escape the wrath of the Shimura clan. She yelled resentfully, realizing her bad luck seemed to be inescapable and that she had no way out.
Orochimaru, however, remained calm and unmoved. His vision extended beyond the confines of a single village. Provoking him and making him a victim of others' ambitions was not something Orochimaru, with his ambitions, could tolerate.
He had to extract some interests now.
But the "Gen-sama" in Yaksha's mouth doesn't seem to be Danzo, it should be someone else from the Shimura family.

Meanwhile, Yaksha's condition worsened, and Orochimaru took precautions by using a snake to both poison her and immobilize her, not giving her any chance to escape.
Aware that she wouldn't survive, Yaksha tried to call for Iwa and Kiri shinobi, who were several kilometers away, hoping they might hear her.
"Devour!"
Orochimaru used a snake to absorb the remains of Tazun's broken body, gaining his Thunder Release Chakra, which further enhanced his Thunder attribute, making him as powerful as a ninja specializing in that element.
However, because Orochimaru didn't personally kill Tazun, he didn't receive the full boost of blood-coloured brilliance.
"I've just had an idea."
Orochimaru looked at Yaksha with a malicious smile.
"In fact, more than one person survived. Members of the Senju and Hyuga clans are still alive. If I bring your body back to Konoha and claim that you and Tazun perished together while explaining the mission's details, I can seek shelter under the Senju clan. Do you think Lord Gen would still target me?"

Orochimaru's hand crackled with energy, the light growing in intensity. Although the technique was far from perfected, Orochimaru felt confident in its potential. He had underestimated the difficulty, however, and after three failed attempts, his hand was left in tatters.
Undeterred, Orochimaru continued advancing toward Yaksha, who was now paralyzed with fear.
"It's time!"
Finally, an imperfect version of the "Chidori" jutsu was born, its appearance somewhat unsightly. Orochimaru's hand was severely damaged from the attempts, but he had no more time to master it.
"It's too late to back down now. It's time to meet your end!"
Orochimaru roared and thrust his right hand into Yaksha's abdomen, a crude and unstable version of the deadly Chidori.
Yaksha attempted to use genjutsu to save herself, but her efforts were futile. She was instantly electrocuted, her body convulsing, and her screams filled the air.
Witnessing Yaksha's agonizing demise, Orochimaru sighed. His first attempt at Chidori had been weak. He needed more practice.
Struggling to make his way over, the giant snake regurgitated four unfortunate souls covered in its stomach fluids before disintegrating into dust.
"Cough, cough... What in the world is this? It's repulsive!"
From within the snake's body, the four individuals remained semi-conscious, their state unchanged.
"Orochimaru, I swear I'll kill you!" one of them, Nightingale, shouted.
"Water Release: Water Shower Technique!"
Orochimaru conjured a stream of water to clean them up, leaving Nightingale thoroughly embarrassed with her clothes clinging to her body.
However, nobody paid her appearance any mind. Their focus was on their current situation.
Orochimaru glanced at Tiger, a mix of puzzlement, surprise, and gratitude in his eyes.
He had always felt a bit guilty for modifying Tiger's taijutsu technique without his consent. This time, he decided to repay his help with a life-saving gesture of his own.
Orochimaru's way of life wasn't confined by conventional notions of good and evil or personal gain. Instead, he acted according to his heart, finding a balance between his principles and interests.
