Alex didn't have any more questions and since he was promised that he would get the information on other sins later, he didn't feel like he needed to know anything else.
"Not really. So, I guess it's my turn to tell you about this world and answer some of your questions."
Percy nodded and Alex began telling him about the future he knew. It was all summarized with just the important parts being shared but Percy seemed content with what he had learned by the end of it.
"So… I will be involved in the matters of Harry huh… more than what I wish to. Originally Percy was close to Harry when he was out of Hogwarts and did spend a fair share of summer holidays in Percy's house… I mean my house."
Percy sat on his stool, thinking about the stuff Alex had just revealed to him. Minutes slowly passed by, but it was only applicable to them.
A long, defeated sigh escaped Percy's lips before he looked up at Alex, "So… Ginny now has the diary…. Please make sure that she stays alive and moving by the end of this. She's the only likable sibling I have other than Bill and Charley.
Don't look at me like that. I don't dislike the twins' personalities but I hate being their target every single time I'm near them. It's basically hell. I'd love to be all laid back and enjoy my life but I don't want to risk it now.
After Ginny's episode, if they see any change in me, I'll be thoroughly tested. Mom will most probably stand with me but not the others. Especially Dumbledore…. You can't deny it, Alex. From the things you have told me, you seem extremely wary of him.
I don't see a reason why you should be. You basically copied all his skills and experience."
"…. I am wary of him. As for his skills and experience, I only got a part of them. If we consider ancient alchemy and a few other ancient spells that I learned from the books that the devils gave me, I am better than him in those fields. But if we consider the magic of current times, Dumbledore still has a huge advantage over me as I wasn't able to absorb everything.
If I made the same trap that I used on Dumbledore and Voldemort using the new knowledge I learned from the books of ancient alchemy, the amount I could steal is about 90 percent.
I was excited when I got their powers since it was extremely massive compared to what I was able to do back them but I was ignorant as I didn't have any idea about the effectiveness.
Now that I have the knowledge and practice if maybe a few whole years, I can predict that the one I used on those two could only give me 40 percent of their true power and experience.
It was discouraging when I first came to a realization but I still have a few more years. There's plenty of time to improve so there's nothing to worry about as long as I don't raise his suspicions.
Moving on to the main part, I won't harm Harry but in return, you have to give me information on the order when the time comes. I've made some significant changes compared to the original path of how things had to turn out so I don't know how much the future will change."
Percy picked his nose which felt really out of place to Alex as he was used to Percy being all disciplined, trying his best not to ruin his public image.
"Hmm… all right. Looks like I'll have to stick with my family instead of siding with the ministry, huh?"
"Yes," Alex replied and in response, Percy shrugged like it wasn't much of a big deal before standing up suddenly and looking far into the distance, frowning. He turned towards Alex before speaking hurriedly, "There's someone who isn't affected by the time pause. Whoever it is, they're coming here and they're coming here fast."
Alex skipped back up to his feet with his wand at ready, looking in the direction Percy was staring at. It only took them a few seconds to see a small dot speeding towards them and just two seconds later, the being landed on the astronomy tower, stopping exactly two centimeters from the shield charm that was cast by Alex.
It didn't take much time for Alex to recognize the person. He stared at her while she stared back, smiling. Percy looked at the smile which did not look normal in his eyes. It was a smile that held back many secrets.
Before he could analyze anymore, the woman spoke, "I didn't expect that I'd have to show myself so early. Don't try anything. If you do, it won't bode well for any one of us."
Alex squinted his eyes slightly, "So you don't care about the contract… I can literally kill you right now if I want to, Isis."
"You can't, go- tch." She spit on the ground, "You don't deserve to be called that. I cannot be killed right now. When the time is stopped, the contracts don't work."
"….. Percy, resume the passage of time," Alex said, still staring at Isis, who immediately pulled out a huge pocket watch that was as huge as Hagrid's hand.
Alex's mind had gone into full throttle as she pressed the button on the watch while Percy shook his head beside him.
"I did it the moment you told me to, but she was able to stop it from being resumed… is that the thing you people call time turner?"
Before Alex could answer, Isis chuckled, "Yes, it is. Guess who made this?"
Percy didn't have to think too much to know the answer but to his surprise, Alex began laughing hysterically beside him. It was a laugh that sent a chill down his spine.
Isis frowned but before she could do anything, dozens of ropes made of wood shot at her. The numbers were overwhelming and while she tried fending them off, she could still hear his laughter, which suddenly stopped.
"Avada Kadavra!"
