Green flames roared in the fireplace before Alex and the two ladies stepped out from there, startling Toffy.
"Master, are these two your mistresses?", he asked as he observed them, trying to see if they were a good match for his master or not.
"They-"
"Master, they are too old for you.", Toffy said as he began to walk around them.
"No… they are-"
"Master, please trust Toffy. This woman is a hundred and twelve years old and this one is forty-eight. Master, you are only twelve… did they force themselves on you?"
Alex couldn't help but smile as he patted the elf on his head, "Calm down. No, don't open your mouth. Phew… listen, they are here to teach me. In return for their knowledge, I'll be letting them live here for a few years."
"Toffy understands. Master is wise… these two are too ugly to be my master's match anyways."
Alex coughed lightly before he walked towards his work table while the two women frowned.
"Anyways… Toffy, any news?"
"No master. The potter boy hasn't been here and the muggle tool you asked me to bring is kept in the drawer. Toffy hopes that master doesn't involve himself with too many muggle things."
"Good. Continue keeping an eye on Borgin and Burkes. Also, about the so-called muggle thing, I actually read about it in a random book I found in Hogwarts express and I got a little interested, that's all."
Alex sat down and let the two women do what they wanted while he worked on his broom. He wanted to make his own wand but he didn't want to do it in his house as it was quite feeble and he didn't want to damage it in any way.
Two weeks quickly passed and Alex admired the broom that was hovering in front of him. The handle was sleek and smooth with a gold line that passed through its side from the head to the butt.
The end of the broom looked like a calm flame that danced to the winds. It was just wood that was charmed to act like a flame and since it was also coloured, it looked real.
'Oh well… there's only a week left. I'll test this out later but for now… I have other things to do.'
He took the letter that he had received from Hogwarts and gave it to Isis.
"Buy me everything that's on this list. Here's the money… you can take your aunt with you too.", he said as he placed the letter and a small pouch filled with galleons and sickles on the table.
"Master, Potter boy has arrived! He left with a large man and a lot of people who had red hair." Toffy said after popping right in front of him.
Alex sighed, "I just wanted to rest… ugh. Both of you can stay here. I'll go buy them all myself."
Helen shook her head as he put her arm around Isis's waist, "We have been inside this small house for two whole weeks. It feels stuffy and restricted here. We are not your prisoners, young man."
"For your information, even I have been sitting in this damn chair for two whole weeks. Am I complaining?"
"But you're going out now!"
Alex felt his head hurt, 'This woman really don't talk logic does she…'
"Alright, take this list and do my chores like the bitch servant you are, miss ex crown princess."
"HOW DARE YOU!"
"OUT!", he shouted as he threw her out of his house and behind her, followed the small pouch and the letter.
He looked at Isis, "You want to go out too?"
"Umm… no. But I would like to let you know that it is better to take me with you. For your plans to work, you will need a backing even if it's only in name."
Alex understood what she meant and nodded.
"I didn't want people to know that both of you were connected to me. Even if it is like a teacher and student. In the future, I won't have the luxury of letting people live as the dark times will soon arrive."
"You have the power to stop it, don't you?" Isis asked as she sat down on the sofa.
"I don't want to…. More like I have to let it all happen to get what I want." Alex said emotionlessly as he changed to his best set of robes.
"You seem to know a lot about the future…"
"Yeah, but only one version of the future. I already started to change it so I'm not certain about my knowledge anymore. Follow me.", he said as he walked out while Isis walked out, smiling.
Helen sat in one place like she was a kid throwing a tantrum, making Alex frown as he walked towards her.
"Go inside or come with me. You're more than a hundred years old and you behave like a child… it's unbelievable."
Helen spat on the ground before speaking, "You're the one that's abnormal! You're only twelve years old but you speak like an old man."
"Do I…?" Alex asked as he saw people peeking through their windows.
"Hmph. Give me your hand, I can't stand up on my own…"
Alex simply stared down at her before he looked at Isis.
"I'll do it…", Isis said as he helped her aunt up.
"Isis, tell her what you saw. I hope you guys do your part.", he said as he walked in front of them.
Every single person they came across, gave the two Egyptian women side glances as they walked and wondered why a short kid was guiding them.
Helen and Isis felt better when they saw that they were getting the glances just like they did back in Egypt. Toffy's accusations of them being ugly seemed to have had hit them hard.
Alex didn't go to any shop and simply waited a few meters from the crowd that gathered near Flourish and Blotts until the Weasleys and the Malfoys faced each other.
The moment Lucius put his hand into Ginny's Cauldron and took out a book, Alex moved towards them as he took out a book from his ring. Arthur pounced towards Lucius only to crash into an invisible wall that Alex had conjured.
"I'm sorry mister Weasley… I couldn't watch you stoop as low as the Malfoys. Please calm your anger." he said with a warm smile on his face.
