Toffy didn't utter a single word as Alex began bombarding it with numerous charms and spells. The house elf felt his skin tingle and itch but as per his master's order, he stood still.
About half an hour later, he took a step back and nodded to himself after he compared Toffy to the clothing set he had bought in China.
"Yes… exactly the same effects although mine are a bit weaker and last for only a few hours... Anyways, Toffy?"
"Toffy can hear you, master."
Alex nodded as he placed a map on the floor and placed his finger as he pointed at a certain area.
"I want you to apparate here. Inside, you will find a fancy looking mirror. All you have to do is stand in front of the mirror and ask for the philosopher's stone. The moment you feel it in your hand or hmm you don't have a pocket…"
Alex conjured a small pouch before tying it to Toffy's waist, who looked like he was about to cry.
"Calm down, Toffy. This isn't something anyone would call a clothing."
"Yes master…" the house elf said as he relaxed.
"Alright, so… I want you to apparate back the moment you feel the stone in your hand or in the pouch. Did you understand my instructions, Toffy?"
"Yes master, Toffy understands."
"Good, now go." Alex didn't even finish his sentence when his house elf disappeared with a loud pop.
After Toffy was gone, Alex sat on a chair and took out a parchment that already had writings on it. He placed it on the table before him and then placed an empty glass vial as he thought about the mirror.
'Only the one who wanted to find the stone but not use it will get the stone huh…. A very simple fix is to send Toffy since he doesn't want to use it hehehe.'
Only a few minutes passed and Alex heard a loud pop. He looked around and saw an overly excited elf running over to him.
"Master, Toffy felt the thing go into the pouch. Toffy felt the thing go into the pouch!"
Alex smiled as he took the pouch from his waist and looked inside to find a small, red stone. He placed it on the table and examined it for tracking and information conveying spells.
After that was done, he still wasn't satisfied. Calming down, he checked if there was any spell that was deployed on the stone and after confirming that there was none, he held it in his hand.
It felt warm but it was heavier than what he expected from its size and unexpectedly, it felt good in his hands. He patted Toffy for a while as he checked for any spell that lingered on him other than the ones he had used on his elf. After he was done checking, he hovered the stone over the empty vial and closed his eyes.
Soon, bright red dew formed on the surface of the stone before it slowly slid down towards the pointy end that was facing downwards. The droplet got bigger and bigger before it fell down, into the vial.
Alex put the stone in one of his rings before he took out another vial of potion that was filled with silvery liquid. He poured in a few drops before putting it back.
The vial in front of him now had two layers. Bottom layer being red and the top being silver. Alex crushed a few dry ingredients into a powder after carefully selecting them and poured the powder into the vial before mixing the whole thing.
A few minutes passed and finally, the liquid looked reddish in colour although not as bright as before.
"That should be enough… hopefully, he'll fall for it. Toffy, hide this parchment and potion at home. Keep it safe. This is as important as the stone. On the first of June, I want you to be present here with both the items."
"Toffy understands master." He squealed before he took the two things and apparated.
Alex whistled happily before he left the place and headed towards the girls lavatory in the second floor to get his friend.

In the morning, Alex walked over to the game board and placed his hand on it. The moment he did so, two words appeared in the air.
"Hmm… Neville Longbottom. Looks like lose streaks also have a hand in assigning people an opponent."
Alex had always let his opponent win but now, for the sake of Aman, he had to win.
'Sorry Neville, looks like you will be having your character development sooner this time.'
His thoughts were running all over as he headed to the Gryffindor table to talk to Neville, who was sitting with Hermione, Ron and Harry.
"Neville, you have been selected as my opponent this week. When do you want to duel?"
Neville looked at Hermione who seemed to be giving him signals through her eyes and expression which he apparently seemed to also understand.
"Umm, tomorrow?"
"Alright, tomorrow after breakfast." Alex said and left the place.
Harry and Ron looked at Neville, "You don't have to worry too much, you know. He hasn't won a single duel yet."
Hermione kept quiet while Neville shook his head. "That's what I am worried about. Until now, I knew that I would lose so I wasn't too worried. Now that there is a hope of winning, I'm kind of nervous, you see.
After all, even I have a lose streak just like him."
Ron placed his arm over Neville's shoulder, "Listen, me and Harry are one of the best duellists in our first year. If you want, we can teach you how to get him."
Hermione pushed Ron's arm away from Neville, "First beat Malfoy before you go around proclaiming yourselves as one of the best. It's embarrassing to all the Gryffindors!"
"Let's just eat Ron. She's the best one in our year so she thinks she can order everyone around her." Harry said in a mocking tone as he passed his best friend a cupcake.
