Chapter 32: Normal Day

After the events with the Eisenwald's attempted terrorist attack on the takeover of the train station and plans to assassinate at a meeting of Guild Masters made the national news.
I still can't believe that I could have been in the middle of such an event. Still quite a mind-bogglingly really.
But even so, life goes on, as it always does. At times I thought, I think back to those events replaying in my mind and my heart starts to pound.
According to rumors, that Kage guy and nearly all of the other members of the Eisenwald Guild were arrested. That part was only natural but there was one scary thing that came out of those rumors though…
It seems like Erigor was not dead when I shot him with my sword thanks to my new item giving me the boost needed on that day as he was taken in by the Rune Knights but Kageyama managed to break him free as he was out on the run.
I worry about what that madman would do now if he came to get his revenge on Fairy Tail or the people that assisted in his capture.
I doubt that fool would do anything rash but lick his own wounds for now but the threat of an actual assassin coming after me does cause me to consider my actions more carefully from now on.
But just as I feared though it seems like I made some headway on the topic of Fairy's newest group of troublemakers as I decided to help the help my Guild but in doing so Natsu had to go all out 'accidentally' destroying the station.
I already figured hiding would be pretty much pointless because of gossip but regardless though I already made a splash in popularity with some of the ladies of Fiore because of my appearance.
Once I was a chubby teen to a lean muscle tone teen instead. Have to thank my STR stats for that and the continuous training effort needed.
It has been 3 days passed since the news that Natsu and Lucy both come back from a job getting fish with Happy as the date for Erza and Natsu's fight is about to begin since we were all too exhausted when we returned.
I recall the Master praised our work while scolding us about the damages done to the train station but otherwise the Magic Council news and such.
Shaking my head though I don't know how things would go in canon since I haven't remembered much since it has been a long while. I have been keeping myself up to date on its sequel of the 100-year quest if not for merely curiosity's sake.
But otherwise, I still remember some key points just not much about the details in great length.
However, with continuous use of my Mana Reinforcement reinforcing my body cells and enhancing my bodily functions including the brain I have a better time remembering now about the plot but I might forget some small details here and there.
Nothing perfect but it was better than nothing.
Returning to my strength issue I managed to complete my daily request getting my +3 Stats for the last 3 days as I take a look at my current stats with glee.

I smirked seeing the amount and time I placed in training not only my stats but also on training my skills much better proficiently along with my combat practicing by myself.
I decided to wait for Mavis to come back to help me out with my issue about my LEVEL UP drawing attention. But to me, it seems like only people that are in the S-Class range are able to tell my power.
Although the quest I have done with Eisenwald I managed to still have the option of either Blessed or Cursed Chest at the ready when I need it.
But what really helped me the most was the item I got from the rewarding quest landing a blow to Erigor easier. Lacrima of the Knight is certainly a very useful item to have in dire times and bonus effects at the time I was injured.

Before I could think a bit more, I hear the door knocking as I began to answer revealing to be Lucy and Gray as I talked to them, "Oh? Gray and Lucy to what do I owe the pleasure of meeting you both today?"
Hearing me Gray was the one to reply as his already stripped again but spoke out, "It's going to happen today. I thought you and Lucy would forget, so I came to remind you."
Feeling somewhat happen to be reminded I responded to what Gray meant about today as I replied, "Ah… you mean about Natsu getting his ass kicked by Erza right?"
He only grinned as Lucy points out that his naked again with a light blush on her face, "Gray you're naked again!"
Gray eyes widen as he tries to find his clothes. I couldn't help but mutter in disbelief at the male stripper, "How does one not forget their clothes while having a conversation?"
Regardless though both of them dragged me along to see as I changed into casual wear we walked back to Guild seeing a crowd in the distance as I talked to Lucy, "Say Lucy do you want to finally learn the spell I promised after Natsu get his assed kicked by Erza?"
She nodded happily replying back tightening her hands at the idea of learning a new Celestial Spirit Spell so that she won't get attacked by her Water Spirit, "Yeah. I was wondering when you'll bring up my reward. We can go over it today after seeing their fight I can't wait to learn of the spell."
Gray merely raised an eyebrow but didn't comment as we both enter the crowd seeing the action firsthand with the fight going on I see Happy made a bet with Cana, "Do you mind if I bet on Erza instead?"
Lucy cried out in shock at how easily Happy betted against his friend and over the fight while I headed over to Cana as she drinks her ale, "You here to bet on who's going to win? Erza or Natsu?"
I grinned responding with a new bet placing my 1000J in the pot and making a bet of my own, "I'll place my Jewels in but I'm betting the fight will be interrupted not by someone in our guild."
She raises an eyebrow at me but was too drunk to care with a shit-eating grin plastered on her face, "Ha! Fat chance of that happening newbie. I just got 1000J richer. No way someone would be crazy enough to try!"
I merely placed my bet waiting to see the fight while feeling the heat of their fire attacks continue between the two as my eyes dart towards another group coming forward to this one mentally hiding my grin.
Still, though the future is certainly going to be interesting with the next arc coming up soon and how should I plan around that one?
Whatever the case is though what I plan to do next is how should I deal with the Lyon Arc next is a better question?
I could just skip it but the power boost of completing the quest would be ideal to do for me. But about Ur though…
How would I be able to turn her back to her normal human form again?
Iced Shell is a technique that uses the spirit and the physical body of the user to freeze the target into a block of ice. It is virtually unmeltable as it is not made of typical ice. It converts the user's body into the form of ice, destroying their body in the process.
As explained by Gray, the Caster is not "dead" but alive in the form of ice. Due to this, even Ultear could not use her Lost Magic, Arc of Time, to reverse it effects as the ice itself was a living thing and therefore could not be reversed or advanced through time.
If only there was a way to change the ice itself or alter it would be possible…
But there is one way to find out…
Checking over my rewards from the previous quest I'll decide to pick it at a later time today hopefully, the item provided would be just what I need to help Ur out.
Not because she might be a hottie or cutie but because she's strong. Strong enough that even the author once stated that she had the potential to be one of the Wizard Saints which isn't something to scoff at.

Not before too long enough a weird frog humanoid appeared interrupting the fight and announcing it to be called off by their order, "To all, do not move from this spot!! I am an envoy from the council!!!"
Listening to that many people of the guild cried out in shock as they stopped what they were doing murmuring about the commotion this time around.
"The Council?!!"
"A messenger?!!"
"Why would he be here?!!"
Ignoring the comments from team shadow gear I peered through the crowd listening to what was going on, "During the occasion of the Eisenwald terror case… as a suspect in eleven counts of property damage including destruction of the train station… I have come to arrest Erza Scarlet!!"
"Huh?"
At that, Erza looked confused before taking her away with the rest of the guild unsure of how everything is going I merely walked towards Cana as the rest of the members go inside, "So… what happens to the bet now?"
Cana looked at me before realizing my earlier claim with suspicion as she looked at me but regardless hands me the pot grumbling at losing some Jewels as I counted about 50,000J with Gray disapprovingly at me, "Dude talk about insensitive in the mood here. Erza just got arrested and you're worrying about Jewels?"
To that, I shrugged and replied to him what was happening while reminding him of my Eye Magic explaining why I was so calm as he had a realized expression, "Nah. What they're doing is a show. The arrest is a public view. The Council merely wants to show they have the power to rein their wizards… to keep order in the magical world. Remember my Eye Magic can see info most don't know?"
Gray looked at me before nodding his head trusting me as Lucy involuntary flinched, but I made sure to not notice.
Nearby Elfman sigh in relief listening to the conversation with Lucy asking me in a relieved tone, "Sigh… it's only for show huh? Then that means Erza isn't in real trouble then. Right?"
I gave a curt nod to Lucy in agreement as Gray and Elfman returned to the guild explaining the news to everyone I turn my attention back to Lucy, "Now then Lucy can you teach me how to perform Celestial Spirit Magic after that whole debacle."
She nodded in agreement as we decided to take this elsewhere for her to teach me how to use Celestial Spirit Magic and in return, I teach her what I know about the <Star Dress> spell.
I just hope my Mana Manipulation level is high enough for me to start using spells if not then back to the grind.
