Jason went to a different tent with Shantel, she was calm and this told Jason that they had been in this situation before.

That would explain why A wasn't freaking out even though the urgency of the situation called for it. Jason was taken and noticed that the camp was technically empty as the men had gone forward to engage the zombies.

"Are you okay?" Jason asked as Shantel stopped in her tracks and Shantel looked over her shoulder to establish eye contact with Jason.

"I'm fine but what were you doing outside?" Shantel asked but Jason didn't understand what she was implying.

"I was getting fresh air or is that not allowed?" Jason responded but he could tell by her suspicious gaze that she didn't believe him.

"If you think I did something, you can come out and say it," Jason said.
