"W-what are you doing here? I have never seen you visiting my palace without begging you for hours…" Prince Asher was confused when he received his guest in the drawing room. It was his house, yet he felt like a stranger there.

Luan crossed his legs and pretended to not hear anything as he was deep I thought. He felt something was amiss but had no way to confirm his suspicion.

As the tension kept on growing, the crown prince's eyes strayed around the room, looking at the vice-commander of the Silver Shadow Knights for help. Vincent who was on duty to accompany their captain tonight only shrugged his shoulders, as he didn't know anything either.

"I heard there is a party at the princess's palace tonight…" the swordmaster spoke out after a while. "Why wasn't I invited?"
